Hi! my name is Ruvi and I am having lap band surgery on 9/2/2011 in IL. Getting nervous! Started my liquid diet yesterday! Would love to talk to someone who is going through the same process! Thanks!

this is my second day of the diet. Honey, it is hard! I have to admit, i did replace one of the shakes with a grilled lean skinless chicken breast because to go cold turkey without food is a bit painful to the system. Plus, i keep my calories at 800-900/day. Just for the first couple of days. i have lost 2 lbs, i believe it is water weight. Where are you having your surgery at? I am scared of the anesthesia. Do you feel you are making the right decision about having the surgery?
