    What is the standard hospital stay for band removal? My band slipped in '04 and was repaired by sewing the stomach around my band. Now, I have another complication and surgeon says it will need to come up completely. I will not have a new band put in because insurance refuses to pay for it. Thanks for any advice. Carol
