I had the band in 2011, revision in 2013, and converted to sleeve in 2015 after more problems with the band. I love my sleeve! Good luck. -

Hi all. I started to have this pain on my left side under my ribs when I breathe. I am 2 years out from surgery and my last fill was early June. I haven't had any problems until yesterday. I took some mylanta in case it was gas, but now I have the pain in my side with some acid reflux. Any ideas? I can eat and drink fine.

I would talk with your doctor. I am a band to sleeve patient and I am extremely happy I did the conversion, but I had a lot more weight to lose. I am below goal and maintaining. Good luck with your decision. -
Good luck! I had the lap band too and I love my sleeve so much better (plus I have been a lot more successful). Keep us updated.

Any Band to Sleeve Success Stories Out There?!?

Congrats! How did your surgery go? I am very nervous to have the revision. I am 230 and want to make sure I am making the right decision! I don't regret it one bit, as for me, this was a million times better. Surgery was two hours with no complications. I love feeling full and satisfied after eating, something that never happened with the band.I wish you luck. -

I lost 70 with the band, gained back 40 with pregnancy....lost 20 presurgery and 89 after the sleeve.I am 9 months out and at goal, something that never happened with the band. Good luck! -

Today I reached my surgeon's goal (Wahoo!!!), but my doctor didn't want me to get to that, he was happy with me at 160. I feel great, but I feel that I still have more to lose. Silly question, when do you know you are done losing weight? When the doctor says? Surgeon says? When I feel that I am a healthy weight?
