I had this pain right after surgery and it stopped. About a week ago the pain comes and goes after eating/drinking. This doesn't happen all the time, just randomly. Am I eating too much/too fast? I haven't changed any eating habits. Any ideas?

Anyone go from the band to the sleeve?

There's another thread on this site that had the band to sleeve conversions. I am MUCH happier with the sleeve than the band, plus I actually got to my goal weight (something I never came close to doing with the band). Good luck. -
I had the same question before I had my surgery. I have to say the c-section was worse that the sleeve. Good luck!

I'm a band to sleeve person and I took off 8 work days. I'm on my feet most of the day and did ok. I was very tired, but was able to do my job. -

I had the band in 2011, revision in 2013, and converted to sleeve in 2015. I lost 85 pounds with the band, but gained back 35 of that (started close to 300) I have lost much more with the sleeve than I ever did with the band. Good luck with your journey. -

My surgeon removed the band and performed the sleeve at the same time. I've heard that some only take it out and make you wait months for you to recover. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!
