Jumped on the elliptical first thing this morning! Getting in to a REAl exercise routine! 4 out of 7 days this week! SO proud and excited! And I'm not hating it either! Exercise still sucks, but not enough to keep me from doing it! Yay! I will be a skinny bride!!! Lol

You and I have about the same physical stats! I pray to look like you at 9 months out! How often do you work out? What's an average daily diet like for you? -
Ice Water Hurts
futuremrsparker replied to BowlingHooker's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You will be sensitive to very cold and very hot for a while. It's because of your nerves healing. Room temp water was my friend for a long time. I'm 6 weeks out and ice water is just now tasting good to me. -
So I was a "bad girl" tonight and had a glass of wine. My fiancé had a big meeting at work and some good news so we went to see what the new bar/restaurant down the street from our house was like. I had 1 chicken tender, a glass of water, and a glass of White Zinfandel (I read that the sugar in it is low). The good news is, I felt completely fine, didn't even get a big buzz on (I expect this is because I would sip some wine then sip some water right after). The chicken tender was fine until I decided to be an asshole and take a bite of my finances fried zucchini... As quickly as it went down is as quickly as it came right back up! Ew. Lesson. Learned.

I'm so sorry your son is going through this, but its also a great reminder of how important hydration is! Especially for those of us who don't absorb as much!! Sip sip sip, my friends!!

What ya eating tonight?
futuremrsparker replied to OleHippieGal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yeah... When I looked, a cup of it only had 5grams of sugar. I tolerated it very well. Still kept it under 1/4 cup though. Trying to teach myself that I CAN enjoy food, just in moderation. So far it's working and I get satisfaction out of just tasting something instead of stuffing myself silly. Lol -
I wish they played music in our water aerobics classes... I love them but it would really kick it up. I think they don't because we have a lot of older adults... I may make that suggestion.

1 hour water aerobics class! Love it so much, but boy does my body hurt! Haha this is the first week of my life that I've kept up with the work out schedule I planned. Very proud an excited!

About 2oz grilled chicken with provolone on top (the inside of a grilled chicken sub) and about 1/4 cup fat free no sugar added coffee frozen yogurt. Definitely what I needed today. Taking it slow with the yogurt though. I haven't had anything like this yet and it's "no sugar added" not "sugar free" so I'm waiting a few minutes between bites to make sure I don't dump. Lol -

I get like that around my period... I'm very emotional during my time of the month and crave everything. I was a wreck last time. -

I made turkey cutlets marinated in italian dressing ad a big pan of roasted veggies... SO delicious! -
Looking good! I'm jealous that you can see your belly button! Lol I'm not there yet!

Will someone please take a glance at my stats for the day and make suggestions? Good or bad, I can take it. I'm losing weight very well-- 37 lbs down since June 5th and 52 lbs down over all. I just want to make sure I'm doing ok... Unfortunately, I can't make it to my surgeon appointment this week due to starting my new job on Monday (can't take off yet). I'm going to call her PA tomorrow to chat about my progress. I feel like in doing OK, I just think I can do BETTER... If anyone has some suggestions, I'm all ears! Sorry I couldn't include breakfast, my phone screen wasn't big enough for the full pic. My breakfast was a homemade egg/cheese wrap on an 80calorie fiber one wrap and lunch was 1/4 cup leftover turkey chili from last night.

It the Spark People food tracker! I absolutely love it!

Thank you! That's awesome! I'm hoping I don't lose tightness in my face (trying to use my age for my benefit going through this).

Sometime in 2015... Because #1 I want to have all of my weight gone and #2 I have to graduate nursing school first or I'll lose my financial aid when they calculate his salary in as well. We aren't in a rush though! We enjoy our life together already (though truth be told, we would both love to run out and get married tomorrow... He's VERY anxious an excited!) lol

Awe! Thanks! I'm sure combed hair in the 2nd pic does help a bit! haha my fiancé snuck that picture of me a few days before surgery. I beggggggged him to delete it and he (lied!) and said he did! He actually saved it though to show me when he thought I would appreciate it and I truly did! I was so excited when he told me he still had it! I great pic to look at when I don't feel like hitting up the gym! Lol

Almost 40 lbs down since surgery and 60 over all! My fiancé keeps saying how I already look like a different person and how great I look (awesome confidence boosters! Lol) love the man! This journey is so exciting!

Tonight I had 4 bites from a smoked turkey panini and 2 spoon fills of broccoli cheese soup.... I gave in to a panera craving and quickly realized I should have stuck with my usually low carb meals... I feel fine, other than a little guilty... Ugh. I count all of my calories, carbs, fat, and protein religiously, but still feel guilty for having a panini instead of just ripping the bread off like normal. Lol
