That moment when...
futuremrsparker replied to Godzchild1982's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I noticed that my 30 min workout was a little too easy the other day. I stepped it up to 45 minutes today and I felt the burn! Lol SO excited though! Here's another... ** you look in the mirror and notice a few less "rolls!" -
What ya eating tonight?
futuremrsparker replied to OleHippieGal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You should try this casserole! 1 lb ground turkey 1 can fat free cream of mushroom 1/2 small bag frozen tater tots 1/2 c. Fat free cheddar cheese 1 tbs butter Melt butter in pan. Sauté ground turkey. Season as you like (I used a packet of dry onion soup mix, pepper, garlic powder, and a little season salt). When brown, transfer to casserole dish and mix with can of soup. Cover with frozen tater tots then cheese. Bake for 20-25 min at 350 or until tater tots are cooked. 1 cup of casserole is 235 cals, 11 grams fat, 16 carbs, and 16 grams protein. -

I made tater tot casserole with ground turkey instead of beef. Seriously one of my favorite meals! Though I really only ate the meat and took a few small bites of the tater tot topping. Still SO good and SO easy! My family loves it too, so it's a good meal to feed a bunch of people that still tastes great! -

I made chicken and bean enchiladas with fat free refried beans, boiled chicken, and fat free cheese. Tasted great and only 160 cals/15 grams protein for one! -
Your post made me creative! Lol I was thinking... Chobani pineapple greek yogurt. 1/4 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup milk, scoop vanilla protein powder, ice cubes... Blend and yummmmm! Instant Orange Julius! 300 cals and 35 grams protein... Pretty good breakfast! Lol

I had a char grilled chicken sandwich without the bun from Chick fil a. I ate it with the tomatoes, pickles, and a packet of their honey mustard. OMG so good! Got a fruit cup instead of fries, but was too full for it after the chicken breast. -
Why are everyone's stats for a normal day... Calories, carbs, and protein... I'm trying to god the delicate balance. I can't get down the protein shakes anymore and they're all so many carbs and calories. Even the low cal ones. I'd rather eat my protein than drink it.

do you drink milk?
futuremrsparker replied to califmomto4's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I drink 1% because the stats are much better for you and it has the 1% of milk fat to help the nutrients in it to absorb (no fat, no absorption). Be careful trying it at first though because a lot of GBP peeps end up lactose intolerant and find themselves in the potty shortly after drinking. Lol -
I can easily take in 1,000-1,200.... I always wonder if my pouch is stretched or something. I watch carefully but this scares me for the future.

I'm having turkey bacon!!! Sooooo excited for it too!!! Lol -
You need to get more calories in somehow. You're probably in starvation mode. Try adding more small snacks in. Schedule a bunch of snacks in your day to at least reach 600-800 calories.

I'm never too crazy about fish either, but I'll eat it. I actually just said to my fiancé that I don't want the tilapia baking in the oven. I'm currently trying to come up with another healthy, on the spot, dinner idea... I really want a quesadilla and I have great low cal/carb wraps to use, but I really wanted to just eat protein tonight... Aunt flow is visiting so carbs are on the brain. Lol -

I'm making tilapia packets... Foil with veggies and tilapia, seasoned, then baked. -
Hey all, Seems I've hit another stall. :/ no matter what I do, my weight won't move! I'm working out daily and tracking every bite of food in my mouth. I'm a little discouraged... Any advice would be great.

Maybe buy some sugar free Hershey bars. Toast a marshmallow and use it with the sugar free candy. I'd really try to limit it to one though cause that could be rough on the gut. Maybe buy a bag of the sugar free candy, take 2 of the mini bars camping and put the rest of the bag in the freezer at home so you're not tempted to overdo it. -
Not sure about having a bypass
futuremrsparker replied to Tilly Kaye's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had a band and it was the absolute worst decision. I wish someone would have told me just to go straight to bypass. My surgeon said that she's trying to away people from the band these days because she has so many revisions. Honestly, my bypass has been the best thing ever. I wish I would have done it in the first place. -

Broke up with a "friend" today
futuremrsparker replied to Kellyk2511's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm so sorry... I'm sure that hurt. She is SO wrong! I had the surgery and if I don't exercise, I don't see the scale move at all. It literally WON'T move if I don't. I hope she isn't considering this surgery if that's how she truly feels because it would be a huge waste of her time and money. I hope you are ok. Unfortunately, we are all warned of this kind of reaction from people. Remember, you are stronger than you think! Maybe she will figure it out someday, maybe not, but right now you can't afford the negativity. If you need a woman to vent to, feel free I inbox me anytime. you're doing fabulous! Keep your chin up!!! -
