Hey WrightNow! I'm feeling a little better! Thanks for asking!! I'm heading out to Starbucks in a bit here to pick up my favorite breakfast sammich (I'm from pittsburgh so I'm morally obligated to use "sammich" instead of "sandwich" haha) and coffee from Starbucks. If you've never tried their vegetable and egg white sandwich with jack cheese on Tuscan bread you have been missing out--- holy! Yum! Lol then I'm going to start my monstrous cleaning list. I want everything ready and don't want to have to worry about a thing while I'm down for the count. SO much to do!! I guess that's what Saturdays are for though! Lol

Sooooooo... Some of us are gearing up for surgery! What are the non-pre-op-diet-peeps planning on eating the next few days. I know I HAVE to get in some Taco Bell and macncheese. Lol absolute MUST!

On a more positive note, I wanted to share a picture I saw on Facebook. I may print this out and put one on my fridge and one on my desk at work.

Thanks, WrightNow! I'm so worried this isn't going to pass over. I came home and took zinc, vitamin c, and made home made chicken noodle soup. My fiancé is sick too. He even stayed home from work, which he NEVER does. just pray pray pray!!! Please! Id appreciate it very much! Just cleaned up my kitchen, now I'm going to get a cup of hot tea.

Kdgaines, I am praying for you! Insurance turn around times are a lot faster than they used to be. Just be positive!! Now after telling someone to be positive, I am going to do a little freaking out myself. Oh my goodness my worst fear has come to life. I woke up feeling sick. Sore throat and achy ears. I'm praying this passes over. I have 6 days till surgery.

My surgery is on my dads bday! Lol June 5th!

I won't miss so much. Mainly being the "fat girl" in the room. I'm so sick of it. I've been the token fat girl since as far back as I can remember. Ugh! I also won't miss worrying if certain areas of my body are smelly after sitting for so long. As Melissa put it in the show My 600 Pound Life "As a fat woman, no matter how much you wash, how hard you try.. Ya end up smellin"... I am the queen of smelly good stuff and always trying to look and smell nice, but its not always possible with how much I sweat. It's so gross. I also won't miss only being able to have sex for small amounts of time because my hips feel like they're going to give out on me. Sorry if this has been a TMI post. Haha

Hey May surgeries! I'm popping in from the June group just to wish all of those going in today good luck! Thinking of and praying for all of you. Congrats to the new losers as well!!! hope you all are well on your way to becoming a better you!

Exactly ONE WEEK from the day for me! Oh my goodness! I am sooooo super anxious and excited!

A lady I work with (trying to be kind) keeps saying "oh you're going to be a knock out when you're skinnier! You have the most beautiful face" seriously?? She says it every. day. Lol

So, I never use RNYTalk on my computer, I just use the iPhone app. I am current on my computer and just noticed that my profile is considered "RNY Talk Addict".. Is that bad?? haha Or do I just love chatting it up with all of you?? Everyone is so inspirational and its great to not feel alone in this journey.

Hek1127, I am going to finish up some stuff at my house and I'll do a round up as soon as Im done! I have everyone's surgeries marked on a calendar, so I can just add our new buds to it!

Anyone thats having surgery next week getting as nervous as I am about trying not to get sick?? I am being a little cray cray about taking zinc and c. Lol everyone in my office is sick and I'm praying I can avoid it till my surgery is done. Then they can pass along whatever they want! Lol

Let the week of food fun commence! Haha So, I am very lucky to not have a pre-op diet (my apologies to those that have to do one). Today I went shopping and planned out all of my favorite meals/snacks for the next week till my surgery. Haha I'm like a kid at Christmas. As excited as I am to eat all of these goodies, I'd rather be done with my surgery and on to the liquid diet/ losing weight. Lol

All of my post op friends. I haven't been nervous for anything since I started this process. I have surgery on June 5th. The only thing I'm fearing is the JP drain. Holy moly does that worry me! What does it feel like??? Does it hurt?? What about when they pull it??

Ahhh!!! Only 9 days left!! Sooo... When I initially woke up from my lap band removal on March 18th and found out that I didn't get the bypass, I was devastated. What's kind of cool is I get to look forward to it all over again. It's also kind of nice because this second procedure fell during a better time to take off of work. Should something go wrong, I can take off longer without fearing that I would impact some else's vacation. Really, it's a blessing in disguise. SO excited and SO blessed to have such an amazing and supportive fiancé. He schedule to work from home for my first week just to be with me so I won't have to be alone and bored lol --- he jokingly claims this is to watch that I don't try and clean the house the second I get a little bored. hahaha I'm a bit of an obsessive "Suzy homemaker" and never ever sit when I'm home. Lol but truly, he's so wonderful to me. The Lord has so richly blessed our relationship with one another. I am super excited for everything in store for my life!

Best thing is, it's not gritty like most protein powders. That's what I like about it.

I have to agree with Body Fortress. I love both the vanilla and chocolate! You can get 2 of the containers on amazon for $24. Or like $13 a piece at the grocery store!

Lisa, I am totally thinking the same thing! Lol I'm so worried that I'll think I'm fine, but really sound like I'm high on something. Haha they're supposed to call the week OF my surgery. I'm hoping they call Monday or Tuesday cause I have surgery Wednesday.

Could use an extra prayer or two. Going through a rough time with a new boss at work and some coworkers that have been harassing me over this surgery for months now. It's all getting to be overwhelming. I applied for a new position and I'm just praying that they call me in for an interview and I get it. It would be a fabulous new start after this surgery. Kind of a career reset with my physical reset.
