    What ya eating tonight?

Welll... It's my birthday! So tonight the fiancé picked me up some Chinese chicken and broccoli-- delicious and sat very well! For my "cake", he got me 2 sugar free Oreos and a cup of skim milk. It's been such a perfect and fun day! The best is yet to come this weekend! I'm blessed.

    June Post Ops!

  3. Hahaha you guys have my lmao over here! So far, my girls are intact. Lol I'm still an overstuffed 44DDD. I've lost 30lbs on the nose since surgery on 6/5/13. My fiancé (and others) keep saying how my shrinking abdomen makes my boobies look even bigger-- just what I need. Haha I am hoping I retain some of them. I'd be happy to settle in a C. I don't want to be the 2nd Dolly Parton when this is all said and done. Haha

    Birth Control Problems!

I had tried nuvaring forever ago and seemed to have a tough time getting it in. This time around, I slipped it right in and haven't had a problem since. If you're worried about it popping out during sex, I read that some people take them out during foreplay and put them back in after all is done. You are still protected as long as its inserted again within 3 hours of removal.

    What ya eating tonight?

My post Sat morning gym treat pre-op was always a large iced coffee and a veggie artisan sandwich. It is SO high in carb though and I was sad... Today I went after the gym and bought a small iced coffee and the sandwich. I was SO excited to find that it tasted JUST as good without the bun so it was basically and egg white omelet with veggies and cheese. SO yummy and just enough!

    Pms cravings! Help!

My first period since rny is due this week and I am dyingggg for a bite of chocolate and some heavy carbs (bread, pasta, etc...). This is so typical of my PMS symptoms that I know that's what it is... I am wondering if maybe I tried a bit of sugar free chocolate, if that would help. I went to the gym to try and get my mind off of it, but I could seriously cry. What I wouldn't give to sit with a bag of Oreos, a glass of milk, and some french fries right now...

    How about some NSVs!?!?

Last night I went shopping for new (smaller) outfits for my new position at work. While having a small fashion show for my fiancé he kept remarking on how amazing I am looking and told me I'm "super cute". A fun night then commenced! Haha

    Support groups

Yes, it is for post ops... I don't know. I work at Magee. I will look on our online database and find out if registration is needed or if you just "show up" and let you know!

    What ya eating tonight?

A few bite of Cajun tilapia, steamed veggies, and a bite of roasted potatoes. It was the Cajun tilapia meal at Applebee's. It was yummy!
  17. Hey all, I am having SO much trouble getting motivated to work out even though I'd kill to be out walking on these beautiful evenings. Anyone around the north hills area want to meet up and walk a few times a week? I have school Mon and Wed evenings starting in August, but I'm usually free outside of that..

    One of those days

I hear ya.... I actually had a day just like that. I just started Nuva ring on Sunday and all I want to do is eat. I just wish I could be normal for a while... I know this feeling will pass as the hormones balance, but wow does it suck right now. Side note: thank you very much to your husband for serving and you for sticking by his side while he kept all of us safe. <3 our service men and women!

    What ya eating tonight?

I had 2 inches of a subway buffalo chicken flatbread. I ate the insides and a bite or 2 of the bread, but that was it. Tastes delicious!

    June Post Ops!

I have a bag of sugar free chocolates. I've only had one. If you notice, the serving size is usually like 5 pieces. Only eat one if you're TRULY craving it. Make sure you're not just needing protein or water (I have found this is the case for me). And when you eat one-- just eat ONE. Enough to satisfy the craving, keep fat low, and minimize risk of getting the runs. Lol I was ready to kill someone for chocolate when I had PMS last week. I bought a bag of sugar free Hershey bars and had one a day or two later when I was STILL massively craving them and it took the edge off. Could I have eaten more? Sure, but I need to practice self control and I'm very proud that I haven't touched them since. Actually, until now, I had forgotten that I put them in my junk drawer (a place I rarely look in).
