I weighed 135 pounds when I got married the first time in 1988. I became pregnant early in our marriage and have never been under 190 pounds again. I cried the day I hit 200 pounds when I was pregnant. I had a second child before I got the weight off from the first child. I was in an unhappy marriage, and didn't know it. I didn't have support to get the weight off and my depression keeps me on medication with a side effect of weight gain. I divorced in 2000 and remarried again in 2004. My second husband married me at my heaviest and is perfectly happy with the way I am. We've had two children and I got to my highest weight yet, 279 pounds.
I found a seminar for weight loss on the internet and went by myself. I decided that night that I needed some help to get the weight off; I have no will power. My husband has been totally supportive in the whole process but he doesn't encourage me to exercise. I had the lap band put in two years ago and have only lost 40 pounds. I am very discouraged and hoping to find a support group to help. I don't have the money to go to a gym. I need some encouragement and friendship to help me lose the rest of my weight.
