I had a reduction years ago. I am sure that they are going to shrivel up to nothing now. -
Everything went well for me. I am healing well. I haven't lost as fast as I would have liked, but I am going to keep on keepin' on.

Does the tummy gurgling ever stop? Every time I eat a bite, air gurgles up. Does this last forever?

This is 3 weeks post op. I have only lost 15 pounds post op so far. It is frustrating, but I know that it is slowly starting to show. I show weight loss in my face first. -

Vix, My Surgeon was Dr. Khran as well! I had surgery on 6/12. They scheduled me to have my drain removed on 6/28. I called about a week early and asked to have it out. I went in for an appt and they determined that they could take it out. I think it was scheduled so far out because they had weight loss conference thing in San Diego the prior week. I just happened to call when Davina had returned from the conference.

I stayed 2 days. They said I could be released after the first night because I was doing well, but I was really dizzy and opted to stay an additional night. No complications here.

Yes, you are totally normal! I am a little over 3 weeks out and my tummy gurgling has quieted some. Also, the pain when I drink is gone! -

I am 3 weeks out and I don't obsess over food anymore either. I hope it stays that way. I do get hungry but it isn't a horrible hunger like before. -
Talked To The Nurse About Stretching Stomach By Drinking Too Fast

The nurse assured me that unless I down a whole quart of water in a few gulps, I have nothing to worry about. We can drink *almost* as fast as we want as long as it doesn't hurt. We will not stretch our sleeves! -

I would think that you could do it right away. I don't know though. I would figure it would be like someone who smoked cigs. Just make sure you don't go hog wild with the munchies.

Yes, I am on short term disability right now. They state of Cali pays 55% of my pay. I had surgery on June 12th. My Dr. asked when I wanted him to say I could go back to work. I said July 17th. So, disability will pay me until then. -
Mine took weeks! I think 3-4. I want my stupid steri strips to fall off! How long did it take yours to come off? I had them put on on the 22nd and they are still stuck like glue. But the edges are black with shirt lint. They look disgusting. I want to rip them off, but I don't want to hurt anything.

My Dr. suggested to put your plate on a warmer. You could use one of those candle warmers..

I gained 1.4 pounds this morning. I am frustrated, but I know it will go away. I think I need to take some magnesium.
