    Kristina - I think you will know when you hit the right weight. It might take some time but it wil happen! Libbe - toning is my biggest issue right now. I haven't been working out, add that to aging skin and pre surgery sag due to years of yo you dieting and I'm a mess without clothes on! (but I'm looking damn good fully dressed ) Drum rollplease - I hit my goal (actually .6 under on) this week. Yay for me!

  4. I have never had much luck with that company. I emailed them four different times asking about specific product availability and never received a response. Surprised me so I went elsewhere.

  6. I have been using Bariatric fusion since my surgery in August. I love the wild berry and take 3 a day. My labs are great and I haven't had to use any other supplements. (and I have not experienced any hair loss!) HIghly recommend them

    Liquids--Protein Without Shakes?

    www.mybariatricpantry.com My staples still include the hot chocolate at 15 grams of Protein (I drink 2/day) , the nectar sweets capucchino latte protein powder mixed with ice coffee (23 grams of protein) and the maple brown sugar oatmeal (either 13 or 15 grams of protein) There are lots more products on their website, great prices and outstanding customer service.     March 10Th Check In

    143,6 this morning baby! I'm only 3.6 from my goal. Kristina - I'm having similar issues with hunger, it's my new norm. I'm eating every 2-3 hours, mostly Protein and just trying to ignore it. I keep a huge bowl of grilled chicken pieces in my fridge and grab one when I'm close to eating my arm off. Each piece is approx 2 oz so minimal calories/carbs but filling. (I also take some to work and leave them in the fridge...) I know that's not a great answer but it's helping me. Hope that helps you a bit

    February 25 Check In

    Just weighed in and I'm down 1.8 for the week. Just 6.2 lbs to goal! I have my 6 month Dr visit on Monday, I'm interested to see what the blood work shows. I'm feeling great although some days my hunger (real hunger) is at the same intensity as the pre surgery days. And I have succumbed to the call of the chocolate chip cookie on a few occasions. Hope everyone has a great weekend

    February 18Th Weekly Check-In

    Hi everyone. I was down 1.4 to an even 148. Eight more pounds to goal! I have been struggling the last two weeks, I am constantly hungry, something I haven't felt in months. Very scary....

    Super Saturday Weigh In

    Hi all. Saturday has typically been my weigh in day but lately I've had the urge to jump on the scale more frequently. I'm much better off when I see a once a week number so I'm joining you all for a once a week Saturday weigh in. This morning I was 151.0, down 1.8lb from last week. (I should be thrilled but on Friday morning, I weighed 150 making me an even 10lbs from goal) Only 11 lbs more to go!
  18. This morning I weighed in at 151, down 1.8 from last Saturday. I was a little bummed because I did an "early weigh" yesterday and the scale said 150. Not sure if yesterday I was dehydrated or today I was retaining Fluid because clearly there is no way I gained a pound overnight as I east almost the same thing every day I'm only 11 lbs from goal, I was hoping to hit it by my Feb 25, my 6 month surgiversary but I'll be damn close and I'm a happy camper

    January 28Th Check-In

    So excited. As of this morning, only 10lbs more to get to goal! (my normal weigh in day is Saturday but this morning I felt skinny - lol)
  20. I am definately in the same boat. I find I am hungry a lot of the time. I am not feeling the same restriction I felt a month ago and it's frightening to me. I am conscious of everything I put into my mouth and log all my food in myfitnesspal.com But the return of hunger and the feeling I could binge is very scary

    January 14, 2012 Check-In

    I am about 15 lbs from goal, I initially hoped to reach it by my 6 month anniversary on Feb 25. But my weight loss has slowed to a crawl. Frustrating because I'm not doing anything different, still eating within 30 carbs and 90 grams of Protein daily. The scary thing is that I'm finding I'm able to eat significantly more (if I let myself) and very rarely have the full feeling anymore.

    I'm Probably A Screw Up...

    So sorry about the loss of your friend. But to put this in perspective - There is nothing wrong with having three drinks prior to surgery. It might impact your presurgery weight loss and if you are on a pre op diet, clearly drinking is not part of the plan. Please don't beat yourself up over this.

    Special Foods For Bariatric Patients

    I do! Every day I drink two Pantry Selections hot chocolate (15 grams Protein each), Pantry Selections maple brown sugar oatmeal and Synthrax nector sweets Protein Powder. I find it to be an easy way to ensure I'm getting in all my protein. PLUS, I travel weekly for my job and it's very convenient to travel with prepackaged foods.
