I'm only one week post op and couldn't wait to see results from scales, Nothing. I weighed exactly the same as on surgery day. I'd lost 18 lbs on pre post diet. I'm confused, although I feel like I've lost a few inches. I go to my surgeon next week and I pray I've lost something..I have yet to start my exercise program, but have done some walking. What is the Green Zone? -
Hello, now I'm really nervous. Surgery date is Wed, Nov 11th, excited and scared all at the same time. I've been hearing all kinds of stories, but staying positive. I've been viewing video on this site.
My approval came in the mail and the next day doctors office called to make appointments. Just stay patient you'll hear something soon.

You sound as excited and nervous as I am. My insurance covers lapband. I've gone through everything, but is now just waiting on insurance approval. My nutrionist said I should hear from them real soon and possible look into mid October for surgery. It would be great to have this done before Halloween and all those other eating holidays. I have several friends who've had the lapband and are doing just fine. I'm also excited to start the support groups afterwards. My husband seems to be real excited, for he's lost 70 pounds on his own. Wishing you much success.
