You dont have to eat the same things all the time. You have to be creative in order to succeed. I am not eating the same six food every single day for the rest of my life. I agree with the baileys you need to get rid of that and drink something like water. But mostly you have to want this forever not just temporarily

For egg salad? Eww no way. There is nothing wrong with eating regular eggs. You can use the egg whites if you want instead of the whole egg. There are just some things that I will not compromise on lol

Awe it will come for you. You just have to see the end result to keep you going. It will go faster then you think. -
I usually only use two eggs that way I can't over do it lol

I do not use low fat mayo. It is important to have some healthy fats in your diet so I use Kraft I think it is made with olive oil. I put some no added sugar relish, some baco's a few and sometimes onions. Of course you can't eat a ton because it is a lot of fat between the eggs and the mayo but that is one thing I refuse to eat low fat. As time goes on you will see you can use things that you think you can't. If you want to use fat free or reduced fat then I would definitely go with a name brand such as kraft or hellmans. I eat cottage cheese too but that is low fat or fat free.

Well you have to be careful with deli meat because it is high in sodium thus causing you to retain water. I ate cottage cheese, greek yogurt, tuna salad, chicken salad, tofu, endamame, lentils cooked with seasoning, black beans, you have to get creative. Find some recipes you can do this. Im a vegan now so I cant say that I still eat those things but when I was first banded those were my do's on that stage. I do stil eat tuna once in a while when I feel the mood to do so. I also like egg salad.

You have to want it bad. Get back on the wagon girls think about how happy you were when you were at your lowest weight. Sometimes when we get comfortable with the people we are with we gain weight back but then you're unhappy. Chin up and get moving. -
Why In The World Did I Let It Get This Bad
cheryl2586 replied to donna12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Of course you are worthy of someone else. But right now concentrate on you healing and losing and learning to love yourself. Once you love your self you can love others much better so I have learned. -
Oh My! Should I Really Hand Over This Pile Of Cash For This?
cheryl2586 replied to audreycat123's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
well my question is can you afford not to -
If you cant eat food then you're too tight. Go get an unfill or you're still swollen when did you get filled and did you wait three days before you went back to solids?

Why In The World Did I Let It Get This Bad
cheryl2586 replied to donna12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Donna my ex husband was an idiot also. He didnt leave me for another woman but thought he could just be cruel by getting up in the morning and saying your face looks fat today I think you gained weight. Well after about nine years of that bs I left because no one deserves to be treated like that by anyone. Fast forward, six months after I had my surgery and was down 70lbs, I met my husband now who treats me like a princess. I have everything in him that I never had in my whole life of being an adult. It doesnt matter why he left really but the pain will go away. I look back now and wonder why I stayed with an idiot who didnt deserve a cup of coffee from me. You will be fine girl. Chin up and move on to a wonderful life with someone who is so deserving of you and will treat you the way you want and so desire to be treated. -

Congrats not only did you complete it but you did it for a great cause. -
Yes sleeping was miserable for me also in the beginning, but once you lose all the weight your body will crave it.

I never heard of that. I dont eat the day of the fill but I never heard of that one. I would have to question him when you go why he would do that to you.

If You Have No Restriction...
cheryl2586 replied to Banderina's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When they place the band around the top of the stomach you already have some restriction there. The fills just make it more restricted. -
This morning I am 178lbs. Losing about a pound a week now but a pound is a pound whoo hoo!

5 Lbs, 3 Days. (Surgery Nov 5)
cheryl2586 replied to Nevara's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
She isnt banded yet so it doesnt matter about those things right now. -
well most doctors will tell you no carbonation after sugery because it streteches the pouch. I have learned to love water tremendously and drink it often about 5 16 ounce bottles a day. I still say sugar is sugar but when you finally are able to have the fruit again how good it taste. I suppose you could do it with just no c's but I think personally you will still want sugar. It's the other things that will cause you to have those cravings also. I have not had a soda in almost three years and I do not miss it one bit. I realize now that all those things were killing me. Diet soda is the worse for dieters lol believe it or not. Drink a soda one day and then none for about a week then drink a soda again and you will be up 2lbs. Seriously its not worth it to me.

Yes we are sweet enough until someone curses at us in a thread lmao

Sugar is sugar if you truly want to detox then no fruit either.

I agree support is the brain tool. At first I thought I was missing so darn much when now I look back and I am not missing a darn thing except trash I was putting in my body every day.
