Good luck you will do great

To me it was a piece of cake. The thought that I can eat without the horrid pain I was having is a blessing in its self. Other then the incision in my naval itiching like crazy I would say all in all I am only taking alleve at night time as that is the time it bothers me the most. But other then that I feel awesome.

Congrats on your surgery and yes this is a personal decision. There is no reason to tell anyone but they will be asking you questions especially as you start to lose weight. Just prepare yourself what you are going to tell them when the questions arise.

Good for you going back to your wls. They are your support when needed and are there to help. I hope you get back to your old self real soon. -
Yes this does help. I also do this about once a month. Do liquids for about two to three days. Gets me right back where i need to be and I have not had a fill in a year.

Discomfort when drinking "water!
cheryl2586 commented on Domika03's blog entry in Mission Slimpossible
You may be too tight or it could definitely be the stress. If its has been cold one day and hot the next barimetric pressure also has a lot to do with the band. -
You tube has a lot of videos just type in exercise with resistance bands and they should just pop up. I use youtube a lot for exercise.

You're not doing anything wrong. Being stuck happens and its part of the journey. These are things we have to learn to live with unfortunately. The weight will start coming off again.

Decaf coffee always helps me at night when I feel hungry. Its satisfying and makes me feel like I ate something as strange as it may seem.

ADVICE ON SELF ESTEEM? Day 13 of Pre Op Diet, 2 Days til Surgery
cheryl2586 replied to phdizzle's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Self esteem will get better as the weight comes off. You have to love yourself no matter how much you weigh. You have to know you are worth something and this is just an added plus to your wonderful personality and self. Good luck on your journey I know you will be a success. -
I am five days post gallbladder surgery and am doing well. I only had minimal discomfort the first two days after that I have been doing laundry and small things around the house.

If you don't want people to comment on your question then don't post it. If you think people are rude then block them. Being truthful isnt rude some of you need to learn to hear the truth once in a while
-
Hely is is not mine or yours or any other band member to tell people what to eat. Medically it is not proper to give people this information. No one is being rude but truthful and if you can't deal with the truth then so be it. You can't tell people not to post just because you don't agree with their answer. I am not going to tell people what they should be eating. He has been given this information on several other threads. We all hit platues its life. Its part of the band. What I eat is not going to make you or him lose weight because what is right for me may not be right for you. No one is being mean. Exactly what you said "you all sound rude" because that is how you interpret it. You do not know how I meant it because you are not in my mind when I was writing it. Everyone needs to be educated on their band, what they should be eating and doing. Support is for someone who is having a bad day not because they dont know what to eat and are not losing weight. Your idea of support is very screwed up. I do not care is you call me rude you all really dont bother me. Like I said if you dont like answers you read then block all of us that you dont like. Its that simple. Im done here. Actually your the one being rude by telling me Im rude. Im not being rude Im being truthful. If you can't take truth then maybe this isnt the place for you. So now I will block all of you since you must love to read what I write or you would have blocked me a long time ago.
-
and for what its worth that is why they have a block button for those you dont want to see their answers
-
Call me what you wish it really doesnt bother me. I dont recall calling you names. You all want quick weight loss, a quick fix and for everyone to tell you what you should be doing. Did you not get instructions from your surgeon, attend classes, have nutritional counseling before you had the surgery. Plateus happen its just the way it is. Do you think I never hit a platue in my whole three years? Yes I did. As long as a year. It happens you have to learn to deal with it. If you can't deal with platues then I dont know what to tell ya. They happen.
-
Definitely too tight. You can do one of two things: go get an unfill or just wait it out and be miserable. I cant see wanting weight loss that bad to be unable to eat.
-
Well we are not men so how would we know. I would search the internet then.
-
Yes call your doctor you can slip your band if you are always throwing up
-
and for the record we all have given you advice at one time or another and it seems you do not listen you're not bothering us we just shouldnt be telling you what to eat.
-
Well again people can sue you for giving information regardless of how successful one is. I have a license to keep and am not at liberty to give medical or nutrional advice. I am sure you can find someone in your area that can guide you in the right direction.
-
Kerrbear we can not tell you this. You need to talk to your doctor and nutritionist. We are not certified nutritionist to tell you these things. We at one time or another gave samples of what we eat and if you are in fact losing inches I dont see why its upsetting you so much. Im not being mean but if you really are not losing weight you should talk to your doctor. I would be extatic to lose inches over weight.
