Merry Christmas to you and your family girlie. We love you too. -
Maybe at this time you should eat something. Or try to eat a little something before you go to bed. The band in its self makes you gasy

You have to weigh and measure your food. No matter how much you want or can eat. You should not go over a cup of food on any given meal. Eat something healthy to snack on. You can manage no restriction you just have to hang in there. Holidays are not about food anymore but your family and people you love. -
Steri strip residue

You can find it in the aisle where they sell alcohol. If you cant find it then ask the pharmacist they will direct you. It might be about 4 bucks a box but it stays good for a long time before it expires. -
Biotin helps with hair loss also. I took 1000 mcgs a day. Helped tremendously!

you can get adhesive remover from the pharmacy which is way safer to use and less of an irritant to the area. -

You can't assume that you are going to fail. Look how many of us have been successful. If you're not 100% sure then wait. You have to go in to this with commitment of 100% for it to work. If you're having that many doubts then put if off for a while til you feel comfortable. -
You have to slow down and eggs are a bands worst enemy. Not many of us can eat eggs. You have to put the fork down in between bites and chew until its like baby food. If you dont do this you will never learn to eat with your band. It takes practice but you can do it.

You are doing great. Don't get discouraged we are in your corner. -
Yes I like that chart tmf. You have to sort of unattach yourself emotionally to this. It's hard. Other things that affect no weight loss is not sleeping at least eight hours, not getting enough water, not going to the bathroom regularly and stress. All these things affect weight loss too.

If your incision is healed then try ice or heat. Which ever one feels better. If your incision is not healed then I wouldnt do heat. It's just a wait situation. Numbness at the scar site is normal since nerves were cut during surgery. -
This happens and sometimes a lot. You just have to breathe and know its temporary. I still weigh twice a day everyday. Morning and night. It's okay to do this if that is what makes you comfortable but if its freaking you out that the scale is not moving then I would say don't do it for about a week you might be surprised. Your body after a while has no choice but to lose. Fat was not gained overnight and neither is losing it. Keep calm because stressing over it will make you not lose weight also.

Did you just get a fill? Or are you newly banded.

In months to come as you lose weight you will always ask why I let myself get this way. It is a question even I still ask myself after three years. However just know there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you will no longer be 300lbs. As the weight comes off you will start feeling better and look at yourself and say wow I got this. I dont think any of us will stop questioning how we let ourselves get that big. Because we really don't have the answer to that except we were addicted to food. As you learn to live without that addiction and realize how much time you have to be with your son and family you will be pleased with your decision. You have given yourself a new life to be with your son and family. It will get better. -

Unfortunately because the port is sewn into the muscle and is the biggest incision to heal it may hurt and be bothersome up to three months. Everything that was cut has to heal including nerves to regerate and the muscle itsself to heal. One day you will wake up and it will be gone. -
That is awesome Mads. These things are better then seeing the numbers go down. Who would think crossing our legs was that important. You are doing great.
