I've been oveweight half of my life.  I've tried loosing a number of times, but after I get to -25 pounds, something in life interrupts, or I get sick, or stressed, or busy - and the weight comes back on, usually to a point more than I was when I started loosing.  Common story.  My doctor wanted me to consider lap-band surgery, and it took me several months before I was weilling to take the step.  Now that I've decided it is what I need ot do, the wait for insurance approval seems so long.  If all goes well, and insurance approves, then I have about 6 weeks to wait.  I'm looking forward to feeling more energy, moving more gracefully and not having to carry the equivalent of a 80 pound backpack with me whereever I go!
