i've not hear about that for a BMI, my doctor doesn't recommend it for anyone with over 100 lbs to lose, but EVERYONE is different...I just knew it wasn't for me...

In my opinion Doctor's have become so biased themselves because of patient non compliance. They want the quick in and out surgeries that make them money and not get chained down with after care.

that is true with many....I go to a Bariatric Center of Excellence, so the followup/after care is mandatory and done well, in my opinion...

but I agree, the lap band has a higher rate of failure because of non-compliance by the patient. Even with the sleeve, I can get away with more than someone with a gastric bypass, but I choose NOT to go that way...
