  1. Mine is Sept. 10th with Dr. Almanza. I love the warmer idea! Where do you get the protein samples? I also like the idea of crystal light pops So glad God is in control because when I try to take control things get all messed up!
  2. Now that my surgery date is almost here, I find myself wishing for the next few months to go by quickly so I can see results!

Can a whole weekend be a NSV?

That is Awesome!!! Wow, I can't imagine how you must feel. You have worked very hard and deserve to bask in you weekend NSV and have many more! I bet you can fit a lot more pairs of pants in a load of laundry now

    Forty Makeover Time?

Im in agreement, go for it! My 25th High school reunion is next year and I can't to see what kind of make overs I will want to do after I shed some of these pounds so I can look my best. It's my hubby's 25th also. We went to rival schools in our community so we know a lot of people from each others class, even though our paths didn't cross until after HS. I'm hoping to feel very confident on his arm at his reunion, who knows, maybe I will be his Trophy wife LOL!
  11. Still praying for you Sara as you must be recovering tonight. Hope you feel strong enough to post tomorrow. I can tell by your posts and your videos that you are a very strong lady so I'm sure you are doing great. Pam, I hope you are doing well also. I'm thankful you ladies are able to be there together. Hope to read your posts soon!

  13. Thank you for clearing that up for me I have seen it several times thoughout the Forums and just couldn't figure it out
  14. Congrats on the story! When I get a compliment on my looks, I feel like it's a pity compliment or like what they really want to say is, you're really pretty for a fat girl. It will be interesting to see if my thoughts change after my surgery. I feel really stupid but can someone tell me what NSV stands for?

    No Small Change

Welcome to our group Ducker. You will find some wonderful friends here. Any questions you have, feel free to post, the people here are so great about replying. I think I'm addicted, I have a hard time staying away for more than a few hours. Where are you having your surgery?
  17. Hope you're doing well today.

  18. Thanks for adding me.

  19. How long does the gas last? I'm concerned about having so much gas when I return to work. I often have a lot of gas on a daily basis so I'm not looking forward to the increase. I don't notice a difference when I take Gas X but maybe it will after surgery.
  20. Sept. 10th, Dr. Almanza It seems so far away but I know it will be here before I know it. I haven't found anyone on here that will be there the same time as me. I seem to miss a lot of people by one day, either before or after. I'm hoping as it gets closer that may change. Being apart of this Forum has been such a blessing. Everyone on here is so nice and helpful!

Sorry about the "ladies" comment. I'm sure you will be making some jaws drop on your 30th! Not much longer til you're sleeved. YAY!!!
  23. Oh wow, Congrats! I can't wait. Come on Sept. 10th! I'm so happy for you! I would pass on the fish fry, you don't want the celebration to be short lived. How about a fish bake

    Sleeve Dates and Surgeons!

You are funny! I wish we were going to be there together, but I fly back home on the 13th
  25. HDub, I hope all is going well for you. How are you doing? Yes, a supplement schedule would be wonderful. I'm getting very confused about timing of all these things. I am going to make an appointment with a nutritionist to make sure I am doing all this right. I had my thyroid removed many years ago. Currently my levels are fine but they tend to fluxuate a bit from time to time. Also, I recently became low on Iron so Doc put me on an Iron supplement. I just started taking it this week. He didn't tell me to not take it with my synthroid, but I know I have to take synthroid on empty stomach and the Iron works better with a meal. I bought one of those big pill organizers that is for each day of the week and it has compartments for morning, noon, evening and bedtime, but what about with food, or without? Uhg!
