About Me

My name is Mandy, I'm 27 (will be 28 on 9/14/83) and live in Delaware. I have been married to the love of my life, Matt, since 3/28/04. For the past 7 years, we have been trying to concieve. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2008 and have since had 3 surgeries to try to concieve (hysteroscopy and laporoscopy). I have had uterine polyps removed 3 times and had had a tube un-blocked. I was hopeful that with the surgeries, multiple rounds of clomid/metformin, and constant monitoring, that we would finally get pregnant. After 3 years of treatments (never did IVF or IUI due to cost), I finally decided to take a break after an ovarian torsion (after over-stimlation with Clomid) and haven't looked back. I am a Christian and FIRMLY believe that we will get pregnant as soon as God sees fit. I did everything I could do, so now I am leaving it up to Him. I believe that I do need to get as healthy as I can, which is why I am planning on having the Lap Band procedure in November. In the mean time, I have started the Herbalife weight loss program and am already down 6 lbs. I joined this forum because I am SO encouraged to see how many women have lost the weight and got pregnant with PCOS. That is the ultimate goal. I am SO excited to talk to you ladies and get encouraged! God bless y'all!
