I had mine done at the TRUE RESULTS Center in Houston Tx. Great experience. I did have some minor complications, but there were pleanty of docs and nurses monitoring me. After being supervised all day, I was transfered to a nearby hospital, to monitor me overnight, per docs precautions. -

I am now banded! Had some minor complications during surgery, had to be transfered to a hospital after surgery, since surgery was done at outpatient clinic. For some reason after waking up from surgery, I was spitting up blood. I had wheezing in my lungs, and just felt awful. Doc said it was something to do with the tube going down my throat, and creating a negative pressure. Its not very common, but said it happens somtimes with big strong men like me...(Yeah!...he called me strong..lol!). Air in chest cavity is for the dogs! That crap hurts! Call me a big sissy, but i dont like it when I hurt. I am now somewhat back to normal. A little excited with the journey in front of me. I am already fitting into shirts that had shrunk on me...LOL! -

Hello all - I am scheduled for Sep 22nd, and start pre-op on the 8th. I got approved in less than two weeks of first doctors visit! -
Went to my first visit yesterday...8/4/11. All my insurance needs, is medical proof of being overweight for the past 5yrs. (That wont be a problem..lol)
