    50 down!!!

    I am down 25 after 5 weeks. Iam walking and doing hand weights. I went 12 days with no weight loss and it scared me silly. I also track every thing I eat. I love the feeling of control....lol! Congratulations! On your achievement! MAKF, a whole lotta folks on here won't like me saying this, but I only count calories. I stay under about 800-900 a day. I do eat Protein first, but find that no matter what I want I can only eat a tiny portion. I am starting to exercise this week, but until now I haven't done that just because I don't have time. I'm gonna start zumba classes on tues and thurs. I have tried the atkins type diets before surgery and they never worked for me, I have always lost better counting calories. That is just what works best for me. Thanks ya'll for the posts!

    Ice cream is on my NO list! My doc and nutritionist said absolutely No higher calorie slider foods! No juices, millshakes, mashed potatoes.... The like... Protein Protein Protein! The 1st month has been such a struggle!.. Now I am starting to realize more and more that the higher quality the food I put in my body, the better it performs! I want to eat empty calories too sometimes...lol I have not just a goal weight but a goal size. I purchased a pair of Miss Me jeans. I want to wear them when I go to New York in May. If I get the urge to snack........ I think of them. You are really the only one who can decide what you eat and how much weight you lose. Use a weight loss tracker to keep track of your loss.   6. with the family and I eat 1 bite of everything that is offerd. I sit and talk and really enjoy my kids and husband. snack at night is a protein shake..... I sip on water all day. I cant NOT eat Breads of any kind. and Milk is NOT my friend!

I also struggle to get enough water in.I want to gulp and guzzle a gallon of water.I have learned the hard way(throwing up! ) that sipping is best! but I am thristy all the time! i can now eat most anything I want a tablespoon at a time! I have settled in to a routine breakfast is 1 scrambled egg and cheese. Lunch is soup at hand. 3/4 of the cup. snack is a diced deli meat my choice. Dinner is

  8. I am now 23 days out and have not lost a pound in 6 days..... wht is going on? I really only eat 500 or less calories a day. this is crazy! plus I am walking/ running 3 days a week!
  9. I had my surgery on 8/8. went home on 8/9. I went back to work Friday 8/12/11 for a half day. then back full time on Monday 8/15/11. pretty tired, but I walk the stairs at work each day to the 5th floor and walk with my husband or kids each night. when I got my staples out on the 16th. I had lost 14 pounds since 8/4. I have not weighted myself again, though. I removed all the scales from my house years ago. I suppose I will go buy one tonight. I have been tracking all my food and exercising using the my fitness pal app. it yells at me in red telling me I am eating to few calories..... I am averaging 250 a day. protien drinks make me so sick. I try to drink 2 or 3 K2O, Protein waters a day and have managed to choke down greek yogurt each morning. I found little cans of chicken by swanson 3.5 oz . so I have that for lunch along with a sugar free Jello. For dinners most days I have Soup. 1/4 cup of french onion or tomato or squash. then I have a 1/4 cup a bit later of one of the NAKED fruit smoothie drinks, then I try to get a snack in before bed. for the last couple of nights I have been eating a tablespoon of cashew butter. (yummy). Finally went to the pool yesterday. felt so good just to float in the Water. I tried a bit of swimming but was feeling so tired that I only lasted 1 lap of the pool. Lately I feel SO tired, like I could fall asleep at my desk or in the middle of a movie or even church. I added B12 and Biotin to my morning suppliments. I hope that helps. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is anyone else feeling so tired? I also still have sharp pains in my largest incision site. I find myself holding that part of my abdomnin... odd.     how is your weight loss going?

    I am still at an even 20.

    I feel much better physically. still trying to walk each day, but old habits are hard to break. I have to PUSH myself!

    For some reason I am VERY hungry. I am up to 550 average calories a day. but have not lost a pound in 13 days. I may need a pep talk or something! what is everyone 4 weeks out eating? Thanks! Mel

    How many calories is everyone up too? If I are and drank what my plan tells me I would be 600 .30ish protein drinks and 30ish mushy meals..... Seems impossible!

    MEMEMEMEME . I was told to start on day 7 after surgery eating moist solid foods. one at a time chewing to baby food consistancy. suggestions were: canned chicken fish, tun egs cottage cheese tofu yogurt refried beans and all cooked and peeled veggies. I guess each doctor is different. After 8 weeks I could eat what I could tolerate, as long as it was lean proteins veggies and whole grains. and try to get 800-1000 calories in and 60-75 grams of protein in daily. I am no where near that as of now. I am only getting in 250 calories a day on average. I am so VERY thirsty! but I find if all I do is drink to satisfy my thirst, I can not eat at all and can go 6-7 hours with no real food......

  22. Oh yea....No SODA! try special k 2O water. It has protein.
  23. 8 oz.?that is crazy! And impossible! Your stomach is not even that big anymore. Sip all your liquids very slowly! Chew 1 to 2 tblspoons of food to baby food like constancy. Just relax it takes time. Your scope says you are okay. Remember to sip sip sip and chew chew chew! How much weight have you lost? Do you work? Kids?
