    This picture was taken march 23rd 2012 after 95 pounds lost. I am wearing a pair of size 11 jeans. (I started in a 24) 30 pounds left to go... It is coming off slower now, but I hope to meet my goal by 1 year out....8/8/12.

  7. Water for me was killer in the beginning... I had to try a few drinks before I settled on Isopure Clear protein drinks and Propel and Vitamin waters. (Sugar free of course). Any foods that contained Milk or citrus killed my sleeve. (Milk has lactic acid). Canned chicken was my friend! Now I can eat bits of everything but breads and potatoes (probably should not eat those anyway! ) It works, but if it were easy everyone would do it...lol! :biggrin5: I had my surgery 8/4/11 and have lost 85 pounds as of today. I have 42 left to go! I wish you a speedy recovery! Please keep us updated!

  9. I am looking for some high protein, low calorie high fiber meal ideas. I want to loose 12 pounds in the next 5 weeks! Today I ate- B-1/3 a cup of southwest egg beaters L 1/2 can of progresso light veggie beef soup S 1 small can of Chicken D homemade gauc and 1 beef taco with cheddar beef tomatoe and onions . 3 bottles of life water (SF) 2 bariatric fusion vitimans

  13. Down to a womens size 14!!! bought my 1st pair of Jeans from the non fat side of Maurices!!! a 15!!! I put a pick of me in them up as my profile picture!!!! I am so Excited!

    Lost 1 pound! Yes! So far I have gone from a 24 to a loose 20...... Seems like it will be forever before I can wear my Missme jeans... (they are a 12.)

    Thanks for the advice! I am still working out and walking alternately. I started back on the isopure Saturday as well, still no weight loss now for 3 1/2 weeks, though my bras are falling off...... So strange.

    How do I add more calories? Is I eat more then 3 to 4 tablespoons I throw up. So I eat mainly protein and veggies... Some fruits have crept in... Applesauce, bananas, watermelon and the like. I know the have more calories but I love them. Absolutely no bread or rice of any kind. Kind of baffled.... Oh well off to dance classes..... My 1st. I hope it is fun!

    No weight loss at all this week.... pms? water retention? I walked /ran a 5 k Saturday and did circuit training twice this weeek. kept calories to 550 average and Not a pound gone....

    I am down 2.5 pounds this week, I am praying and working towards a 20lb loss for the month of October. I have an adorable halloween costume for a party onthe 28th, and it does NOT button. Almost.......but clearly I need to lose 15-20 lbs to make it look decent.
  21. I had my surgery on 8/8. went home on 8/9. I went back to work Friday 8/12/11 for a half day. then back full time on Monday 8/15/11. pretty tired, but I walk the stairs at work each day to the 5th floor and walk with my husband or kids each night. when I got my staples out on the 16th. I had lost 14 pounds since 8/4. I have not weighted myself again, though. I removed all the scales from my house years ago. I suppose I will go buy one tonight. I have been tracking all my food and exercising using the my fitness pal app. it yells at me in red telling me I am eating to few calories..... I am averaging 250 a day. protien drinks make me so sick. I try to drink 2 or 3 K2O, Protein waters a day and have managed to choke down greek yogurt each morning. I found little cans of chicken by swanson 3.5 oz . so I have that for lunch along with a sugar free Jello. For dinners most days I have Soup. 1/4 cup of french onion or tomato or squash. then I have a 1/4 cup a bit later of one of the NAKED fruit smoothie drinks, then I try to get a snack in before bed. for the last couple of nights I have been eating a tablespoon of cashew butter. (yummy). Finally went to the pool yesterday. felt so good just to float in the Water. I tried a bit of swimming but was feeling so tired that I only lasted 1 lap of the pool. Lately I feel SO tired, like I could fall asleep at my desk or in the middle of a movie or even church. I added B12 and Biotin to my morning suppliments. I hope that helps. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is anyone else feeling so tired? I also still have sharp pains in my largest incision site. I find myself holding that part of my abdomnin... odd. Where is everyone else? Thanks, Mel

  23. I am surprised at how much I can eat sometimes. then other times I barely get down 1/4 cup of broth. I am trying to live by the moto of eat healthy and what the family is eating minus bread/starches of any kind. so yesterday I ate 1 scrambled egg-Breakfast then mandrian orange snack and lunch was 1/4 of spinach and 1 babybell cheese and snack was some pepperonis (5 slices) then dinner was 1/4 cup of pad thai. when Iam eating it I am feeling like OMG that is a ton of Food but then I lay it out in my fitness pal ticker and see it is less then 600 calories. so if you evaluate the calories really you have only consumed about 200 calories. if you are chewing throughly (to baby food like consistancy) and eating VERY slowly ( 20 or more minutes) then 200 calories is not at all bad. try greek yogurt instead of pudding for more protien. the Dannon seems the best to me. How is your energy and weightloss going? can you drink morethen 4 oz of Liquids at a time? talk soon, Mel

    GROWLNG HUNGAR PANGS

    I too get hunger pains!!! try my hardest to eat mosly protein, but they are still there! Today I had 1 scrambled egg with diced peppers and onions and some shredded cheese and breakfast coffee. and was starving by 9:30 am. I waited until 10 to have my snack of greek yogurt. then by 12:00 I was starving again.. again I wanted til I could eat 1pm and had 3/4 of a chicken patty. I drink my protein water and propel water in between meals after my 30 min is up. But I am starving by 3 pm..... what to do? Mel
