<p>I'm 43 years old and have been overweight most of my adult life. I have try many of diets with no success. I am hoping to be successful with the lapband. I had a 80 lb weight lost only to have gained it all back.&nbsp;I have high blood pressure, pains in my joints and I'm ready for permanent change. I'm tired of the yo-yo diet thing and I've come here for support and to hear others weight lost stories. I recently have completed all of my testing and been approved by the insurance. I have a surgery date and have started my pre-op diet. I have learned a lot from this site and have given advice myself. Lookinfg forward to becoming a newer me. The most important thing in the world is to love yourself and I'm gonna do just that.</p>
