  1. Happy 35th Birthday myzn1!

  2. Happy 34th Birthday myzn1!

  3. i want to take dance classes wear heels buy smaller sizes (i've already gone from a 20 to 16) fold my legs close to my body and pull a shirt or sweater over them not look like the zero in number 10 when i go out with a skinny guy have smaller hips, butt & thighs
  4. that's going to be hard for me too once i get my fill. after i work out, i just wanna chug my Water - i've had a few stomach after chugging water. it's not cool at all. haha.
  5. i felt like that the first few days after surgery. i've been banded for a month now. i don't feel like that anymore. as far as the thoughts of food. i have them all the time. i just usually say out loud all the food i want, i just list everything i want and then think about the weight i've lost and go on about my day. it's non fattening to think of food. part of why we're overweight is because of mindless eating. so think about it, then get rid of the thoughts by thinking about how good you look and how much better you're gonna look when you lose all your weight. it'll get better. good luck!!
  6. THANKS!! No prefill. i started walking the day after my surgery and I walk 3 times a week. started with just 10mins and have worked up to 45mins. I get my first fill in 6 days and I've really nervous about the eating and drinking. I've got to really train myself to cut it out these last few days. It's my goal to never throw up. I hear a lot of people have that problem when they're in transition from one phase of eating to the next. I'm not interested in testing the limits of the band and getting sick. I don't think that having fluids with my food makes me fell full any quicker or longer, I just don't like warm food in my mouth, so drinking makes it easier to swallow. Weird, I know. haha. Anyways, good luck with your weight loss also!!
  7. I just realized today that i've been banded for a month now. crazy how time flys. i get my first fill on the 19th. i'm nervous and excited. i can't break the habit of drinking and eating at the same time. and i haven't been drinking as much as i should. this is the only problem i have. i started on 'regular' food a few days ago and i can only really eat one small meal a day. they keep me full. i had a chicken patty from trader joe's and i felt full for too long. i didn't want to eat for almost a day and a half! so i just had liquids. i think it's more convient and eaiser on my stomach to get my protein from the shakes and yogurt. since getting banded i've lost 25lbs. but have been at a stand still for the last week or so. hopefully getting my fill will kick my weight loss back into gear. good luck everyone!

    Burping

i burp quite often, it feels good. haha. but i burp when i'm either very hungry or when i eat.
  9. 4 days post & it totally feels like it's moving. It's not painful but is slightly uncomfortable at times. Feels best when i just stand up.

    Is it just me?

Maybe it's because the people that are happy are out living & enjoying their life. And the upset ones are here complaining. I've seen quite a few people on here thinking the band was going to be a cure-all and are upset because they have to actually watch what they eat and work out.
  11. I'm really npt sure if they are in the same practice. I got my consultation with one doc & my surgery from another. From now on my appointments are with the first doctor. Thanks for your response.
  12. I got a post-op diet from my surgon that says i should do clear liquids for one to seven days and then move to full liquids & protein shakes on days eight to 14. But the post-op diet i got from my doctor that i was working with before the surgery says i should do liquids day one to three and then thin liquids and protein shakes on days for to 14. I'm confused.

  15. I got the same technique today. Other than the gas/air in myleft shoulder area, i feel ok. Just walking around the house as much as possible.
