My surgery date is Tuesday the 16th, too! I can't wait - it seems like I've already waited forever. This is such a big step for us - a step to becoming a stronger and healthier person. Good luck and keep me posted! I, too, am thinking about the pain, but realizing that it's just something to get through to get to the good stuff. -

My surgery is scheduled for August 16th...have my pre-op appointment tomorrow. The liquid diet has been a challenge..but I am making it. Anyone else out there scheduled for the 16th? -

I haven't told many people either. My surgery date is August 16th and I still haven't told anyone at work yet. My husband, kids, parents and siblings know - and two friends. That's it.
