Well, today I picked up my CPAP machine and I start using it tonight. I really hope that I get used to soon, because I really don't like it. I kind of makes me feel like I'm giving my lungs a workout all night. Oh well, no CPAP machine, no surgery... so I guess I'll have to comply.:cursing:

I can't wait to get an answer from my insurance company. My paperwork was finally submitted to the insurance company on April 29th and they have up to 30 days to respond. I hate waiting.:cursing:

Hi Wendy. Hope you are doing well. I haven't been around this week. My grandmother passed away and I went home for the funeral. Was away almost a week. Can't wait to catch up with you and everyone. - My son's jazz band concert is tonight, so it will probably be tomorrow before I get back on. FINALLY all of the paperwork was faxed to the insurance company on 4/29. They have up to 30 days to respond, so I'll know by 5/29 if I'm approved.

I just had an initial visit with my surgeon last week. I need to have a sleep study and a psych evaluation and then I have to wait to see if I get approval from my insurance company. I should know in about 4-6 weeks if I'll be able to have the surgery. Wish me luck. :thumbup:

I like to thank you all as well. I'm having similar reservations about my abiity to change my habits, but reading your experiences is helping to put me at ease. I am still waiting for insurance approval, but I'm starting to get excited about the possibilities. One Question though. Pray tell, what is sliming? (Or do I really want to know?) -
