Hi all! My name is Kristina and I was banded August 24th. Starting weight was 239 and I am down to 225 so 14 lbs. as of today! I am very excited about my life! These first two weeks have had their ups and downs. I have been extremely sore and very weak but I think that it could be partly due to I am having to take 40 mg. injectable blood thinner (Lovanex) twice a day for a month after surgery Just so ready to be able to get my life started again!! Hi! Thanks all for the kind words! And yes, the needles are luckily pre-filled and quite easy to give! Just twice a day in my belly. I am having to do them for an entire month after my surgery (2 weeks left!). They do make me feel a little weak & tired, but better that than a blood clot!
