Roll Tide! Can't wait for the new season. I'm like you as long as we are not playing them I will pull for Auburn. I really miss being there the week before the Iron Bowl. The mud slinging and jokes are in abundance. I moved further south because of a job opportunity. I am a software analyst by way of nursing. Long story abut that. What takes up your days?

Hello Friend, thanks for friending me. Are you Alabama or Auburn? I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa (and Northport). Lived in Geneva, Montgomery and Vestavia Hills. I've been in Orlando for 16 years.

After my pre-op 7-26, the diet is eat half meals, take very small bites, chew at least 30 times. Cut out pasta, white bread, starchy foods. Eliminate carbonated drinks, go to decaf coffee and tea unsweeted. It is not so bad. Right before surgery you have protein drinks, skim millk and some fruit and vegetables. I tried it out for a day and it was very easy to follow. I've lost 10lbs since.

Hey all Florida Sleevers. My name is Stephanie (Steph) and I live in Orlando. My surgery is scheduled for August 24, 3 days after my birthday. What a great birthday present. Dr. Marema is my surgeon and US Bariatrics is were I have my classes and follow up appointments. The surgery is in St. Augustine at Flagler Hospital. We love St. Augustine and plan to have a mini vacation before surgery. Good luck to everyone and much sucess in this journey to better health. -

They said they had transcriptionist problems this week , so I am confident it wil be done Monday, I just hate waiting over the weekend knowing the insurance has not beem submitted. Thanks for the encouragement, I love the website and all the members.

Did you meet Melissa Smith at the seminar? She is the main reason I switched from Celebration to Flagler. I have had nothing be a great experience since changing to US Bariatrics.

A program I was in at Celebration FL was doing the same thing to me. I changed to US Bariatric and already have a surgery date of August 24. The surgery is at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, but all the other appointments are in Orlando where I live. I felt like a number with that other program but the people at US Bariatric make you feel special. When they should they could fast track me they were not kidding. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you. -
Congrats to you on your approval and best of luck on this journey. I have all the requirments for Cigna insurance except the psych eval. Hope they get that report this week because they have me on the schedule for surgery for August 24, Dr. Marema is doing my surgery at Flagler Hospital. The process and support is with US Bariatric Center. All I have left other than the approval is my education class and any more blood tests I have not completed. Best wishes, Stephanie
