Hey all! I've been reading some posts here for a week or so and thought I should say hi. I'm in the very beginning of the process. Just had my first visit with the social worker last week so I have a bit to go. I also just decided to go with the sleeve. I was pretty torn between the sleeve and bypass but now I have my mind made up. I'm not sure yet if I will need to do the 6 month diet first or not...I don't think my ins requires it but I think my sw might make me because she feels like I definately have some emotional eating issues. She's having me do a mindful eating class which is 2 mos long. I just really can't wait to get my surgery and have a fresh start. I'm so tired of feeling like crap all the time from being overweight!
