No this doctor actually performs surgeries IN Mexico WITH Dr. Ortiz in Cancun! He is fishing for patients and is not reputable, Do a google search on this nonreputable doctor! His interests are about as pure as his pocketbook! BEWARE of him and BEWARE of anyone associated with him!

I went down for my surgery with a TJ doctor and saw the hospital, it did not even have A/C and some people had to share rooms with other patients, and at that point I bolted. I would NEVER consider returning to TJ for a surgery.

You must be very careful with what you read from this doctor also he is almost as bad as Huacuz! His interest is promoting his services in Mexico and works directly with Dr. Ortiz. Just dont believe everything you read from this doctor... he is self promoting and only interested in making money from people on this forum. BEWARE of him and beware of HUACUZ.

You have no clue how high the standard of care was! Were you a patient of his or were you one of the many who went to Tijuana to have surgery with a different doctor. Dont talk about care that you have no clue about....

Dr. Joya provides free fills for all of his patients, whether or not they refer people, once a patient of his you get free fills for life! What is better than that... I saw a news report on this doctor out of Phoenix and he was not an INAMED certified surgeon from my understanding... he also uses a clinic for the surgery. Dr. Joya did my surgery and now I am down 175 pounds and feeling great! Just a note, Mexican Bandsters and Bandsters are run by patient coordinators for Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Kuri and they scam a lot of people by not posting good comments about any other doctor, and post negative when a good doctor has a good reputation. They are run by saleswomen under the supposed free forum context, but it is not free and posts are not allowed all the time at mexicanbandsters and bandsters, so read what you like with a lot of caution.
