hello and welcome to my story 
My name is Tammy Gray and I have been struggling with my weight for almost 21 years now.
I have tried all the fad diets, I did them all and at first they seemed to work then the weight would come back.
I live a very active lifestyle, I am a coach of VOlleyball, Basketball and Softball. I work as a RSP Teacher and I also have three very active kids.
MY kids were all born by c-section that didn't help with my weight either. 
When I had my first born child 20 years ago now I weighed at the time of his birth 260 pounds. I gained a whopping 70 pounds with him. I played softball in college, I played softball in a rec league the weight just wouldn't come off. I worked out in the gym, I tried Matabolife, NOthing its like the weight was saying I am here to stay. 
I finally had enough with even trying to loose weight and I had decided to be fat and happy for the rest of my life. 
The next several years, I had 2 more babies and by the birth of my daughter I was at a whooping 314 pounds after I had her. 
The weight just wasn't an issue until my daughter was about 5.
I had gotten a divorce and I had met my current husband by this time but my body was doing crazy stuff.
I was so heavy I didn't realize that I had a 10 pound basketball size fibroid overy growing and it had flipped around my appendix. 
After that scare you would of thought ok time to get off these yoyo diets and really think about this weight but once again I was happy with who I was and happy with being heavy.
A couple years later after having some serious pain again I was taken into the hospital this time having a 9 pould fibroid inside my uterus, EMergency surgery took care of that and I was up to my highest weight 326 when I came out of the hospital
GOing for my week post appoinment I found out that I now had Diabetese. I was immediately started on taking 1000 x2 a day to start and get it under control, But once again I just new I was going to be fat my entire llife seems like nothing I did would take off this weight.
Now I was watching tv and 1800getthin came on, I said what the heck I am going to call them. 
I gave them my insurance information and they said they would call and verify and then give me a call back. Well a week went by and no call back so I was like yep no insurance coverage. Then all the sudden my phone rang and it was them saying all my insurance had been verified and when do you want to come in for a orientation of the program.
I jumped at the earliest appointment I could get and started this entire process.
In less than a month I was approved and schelduled for my surgery that took place on July 7 2011. 
The time of my surgery I weighed 306 pounds.
I came home from the hospital and the first week I dropped almost 15 pounds. I am getting excited now. Week 2 another 10 pounds lost and I am feeling better.
Week three started back to the gym, burning more calories but seem to hungry now alot more. I am craving watermelon and fresh veggies.
I go to the local pool everyday and swim and mess around with the kids for about 1:30 minutes a day. Gained 5 pounds
I don't no why all the sudden I am gaining weight but I no the scale will start to go down soon. 
I go for my first band tightening on Wednesday and I am excited.
I have met my first goal after surgery by loosing 25 pounds.
Now my second is to get into a size 18 by my 39 birthday in August.
