Day two was not my favorite day. Day one was more of a breeze because I was still high. Yesterday I was living with the surgery aspect. My pain was managed but not so much that I couldn't function. I got to walk around and did my juice test. It was very nasty. I finished with all positive reviews. I got a sleeping pill last night and was out like a light! Today is much better. I had my fluoroscopy test and passed. It is so neat to see things go through your new tummy. I am having chicken broth and Gatorade. I hope all the other slivers this week are having a great experience.

I am doing better physically today but mentally I am worn. It is day 3. I had my drain removed and have been eating chicken broth, Gatorade, and some chamomile tea. Apple juice doesn't agree with nor does the tea. I feel better physically but I am exhausted. I have taken 2 naps already today. I feel drained. It is probably just recovering from the last few days.

I am hypothyroid too. does anyone have a sample vitamin schedule they would like to post?

Hey everyone. I got sleeved this morning at about 10 AM Pacific time. I will detail my experience when I am a little less doped up. All the good things I heard are true. Ernesto, Yolanda, Sergio, Dr. campos, Dr Aceves, and all the nurses are wonderful. I have never been treated so well during a medical experience. Heck the last time I got this kind of service I was at Emeril's Restaurant. I am being a total tourist and taking pics of everything. So far I have no complications. I am experiencing nausea any time I sit up straight and walk more than 5 steps. Dr Campos says this is normal for some people and I should be better by morning. Eith I am on super pain pills or I don't have gas. Lol! I have a small pain on my left side but that is it so far. I am so happy with my choice. I have my 2nd drain test tomorrow so I will post back then. Yay Sexi Mexi!!!

Everything is just as you all said it would be. I have passed my pre op tests and I will have surgery tomorrow. The hotel is beautiful. Ernesto was great. I am so lonely. I thought there would be a couple of others in the van or in the hospital but I was the only one on the van and I am the only one scheduled for surgery tomorrow. I feel like I am doing this all by myself and my confidence is fading fast. I am just now eating something so I am fighting a headache. I have this fear that I will be walking the halls alone tomorrow.

I am doing great. Lots of gas and drain pain, but it is being managed well. My nausea is being managed too. I have walked a couple of times and not having too much difficulty. I'm going back to la la land now. Will post more later!

I am here at Almater now. I was sleeved yesterday. I am high as a kite right now. Everything people havesaid about the doctors and the facility is true. It is better than I could have imagined.

I am on east coast time in my head so I was up at 4 AM this morning. I was able to pee three times so the gas is moving around. Lol- every time I take a breath the pee stops so I am holding my breath to go! I was able to get up, put my bottoms on, brush my teeth and hair, and go walk around. I think the walking helped push the gas into shoulder because it is pretty uncomfortable. The part that is worst right now is where my drain is. I dint know if it is the drain or the gas but no bueno! I just got a shot of pain meds so I will be asleep again soon. Good luck to everyone on their sleeviness.

I made a post tonight. I am Sleevy Baby! Woot woot!

I am heading out to meet Ernesto in a minute but I wanted to say thank you so much to all of you that helped me get through my nerves yesterday. After a pep talk in the shower this morning and a good night of rest, I am feeling much better. I am ready to start my journey and will see you all in the Sleevy Club in a few hours.

I stocked up on those water mixers before I left home. Ocean spray makes a good one. HawaiiAn punch makes a good strawberry lemonade. I also have the Mio water flavorings that add some variety. I get bored with the tartness of crystal lite sometimes and these help. Oh and propel makes one too that I think has electrolytes. I didn't care for the special k protein waters. They had a weird aftertaste to me. I hope this helps give you some other options if yu are tired of the same old same.

If you bulld it they will come. Sorry just kidding. I believe the sleeve works because I have seen so many successes. Yes other diets have spokespeople and that is great, but here in was we just have our real people experiences to depend on. I have never seen any "plan" have so many successes with people with higher bmis consistently. Be positive. If you work it, you will lose.

I think it depends on your body but 32 is the smallest I have heard of. Congrats on moving around so early!

I just finished the fettucine carbonara and a margarita. They are all so nice here. I just want to go get in the bed but I need to go over all the papers Yolanda gave me. I think the travel along with the anxiety leading up to getting here is a little much. If I had to do it again, I would have travelled yesterday instead.

I think this is commonly referred to as spitting stitches. I had it happen in previous surgeries. They will work themselves out.

Oh and because I couldn't find the room service menu I am eating in the restaurant alone.

I was all excited a few hours ago about taking off on my Sexy Mexi vacation for my sleeve. I drop the baby off in 2 hours and I am so sad all of a sudden. I just want her to sit on the couch with me and snuggle. I love her so much. I have been away from her before. She is going to stay with her teacher so she is in great hands. Why do I have a lump in my throat about being apart?!
