In 2005, my weight was 127lbs...I was healthy and my weight was steady... All of sudden in 2008-2011,  I gained a total of 85lbs, my self esteem went down and my self worth right along with it.. My husband and children didn't seem to mind the weight gain or so I thought, but one day while riding in the car with my husband, he mentioned how he had to cover me up while I was sleeping on the couch in our family room and he used the word, "disgusting", he tried to clean it up by using another word, but it was too late, my heart was broken. I knew something had to be done.. I tried working out, diet plans and a host of other things, but I was losing 1lb here of there.. It was frustrating!... I never walk by a mirror and look at myself, I avoid them at all cost...I don't attend family homes or functions, because I don't want to hear," MY YOU HAVE PICKED UP A LOT OF WEIGHT". I don't sit with my husband at church, I sit in balcony with my daughters.. It has been 6 days and I have lost a total of 11lbs on something called  OPTIFAST....My surgeon mentioned this was a requirement in order to shrink my liver before surgery.. I want this so bad and do not want to cause anything to hamper my surgery on August 9, 2011!.. I have been following this OPTIFAST LIQUID DIET for a few days and feel the weight loss in my hands and feet..
This is the beginning of the new ME!
