I had my sleeve 8/5/11. I am down 30lbs but the scale has not really moved in 3 weeks! I am reading what others are losing and I seem so far behind. I am not exercising everyday but eating far more less than before and am not lazy by any means. Has anyone experienced this? Any tips? -
Hi Trizzy! It looks like you are doing AWESOME!!. I lost a lot the first 2 weeks but now only about 2lbs a week? I'm down about 22 lbs....but I shouldn't be dissapointed for 1 month! How is it going for you?

I had my surgery 8/5 and experienced the same thing. My stomach was gurgling, cramping like I was supper hungry! Then I read some other posts on here about taking an antacid like Prilosec OTC daily. I started researching it on some MD websites and many docs recommend it. So, I went and bought some and it has helped amazingly! -

Trizzy-how are you? We both had it done on the 5th in Mexico, just different locations. I am back home now. Mine went well considering. Can't wait to hear from you!

Cont from below... (being in the medical field) their equipement was very outdated. After care is also a little unknown to me and I am so glad I connect with a surgeon here for aftercare. Dr. Verboonen was very nice and along with Sheri and Eric, they made sure I had all my meds and testing by the time I needed to leave back to the US.

I am back from Cancun, thank God. The few days I went before the surgery were fun and got my mind off the surgery. It also gave me some time to trust in the process down there. I was at Victoria Clinic. They were very nice and clean. I had a single room and they accomidated my son very well. My patient coordinators Sheri and Eric were awesome! cont above
