I'm having my surgery August 1st. Any suggestions, ideas to ease my apprehension about life after banding would be appreciated. -
Hi, I'm new to the forum! Just went shopping for my post-op foods (getting banded August 1). I'm both excited and anxious about my surgery. My biggest fear is that I won't do well losing the weight. I have gone to the support groups and have heard so many horror stories about people who have not lost weight and are going back for plication or getting gastric sleeve/bypass. I'm hoping that interacting on this forum will lead to my being more positive and proactive on the Lap Band journey!
