Omg I hope mine gets better I mean I love to have sex but its not that exciting maybe w a little weight removed I can respark our chemistry

I'm from Atlantic city nj and Dr. Samir Patel is doing my surgery on December 12th. I would like to go to Atlancticares meetings but there hours are not on my time which I think is horrible. So I'm trying to find something else

My dr. Put me on a low sodium low carb diet and i dont feel that im shrinking my liver enough so i put myself on a liquid diet during the day and only having tuna salmon or chicken for dinner and still am not dropping as much weight as i would like. I think im overthinking this whole pre op thing because my liver was enormously enlarged and caused me a lot of complications with my gall bladder removal... i get banded december 12th and i cant wait.

How are u all doing with ur pre op diet?

I am getting banded December 12th

i started my diet monday my dr told me i was able to eat chicken and fish, but im thinking about just doing Protein Shakes, juice and Water diet do u guys think that is safe? i havent lost that much weight and i really want to shrink my liver because it was the root complications with my gallbladder removal.

i was on nov bandster too but removed myself since my complications, but i am excited to get everything going and started. Good luck to u too i cant wait!

Hi my name is celeste and my date was nov 17th but i had to get my galldladder taken out first then had some complications, but im all better now and ready to get banded on dec 12th. im starting my pre-op diet and m so excited but idk if m dieting right cuz i havent lost weight??? but i have started healthy eating...idk lol maybe its too soon.... anyway GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF U

I just had my gallbladder removed Thursday but because of a very enlarged liver I had to get 5 incisions instead of 4. Saturday night I was admitted into the hospital w a possible leak.Sunday morning emergency surgery to have a stent put in. M due to get banded November 17 but m kinda nervous after all of this and the pain SHOULD I GET REOPENED AND GET BANDED??? WOULD YOU???

I get banded November 17 n m so excited to start this new journey in my life CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL

I eat 3 meals a day now because im on my diet before surgery but I do snack 2-3 times even though my Dr said try not to. That's why I was asking if it would change once m banded. I am trying to change my eating habits n so far so good I just feel guilty snacking even though m not banded yet because I don't want snacking to become a hard habit to get rid of

Ok thanx now I no m not alone for wanting to eat more then 3 times

And you don't have any problems loosing weight with the Snacks?

I get banded November 17,2011 and I'm doing research to make sure I have this whole eating thing down pact and m fully stocked on nutritional goodies. The only confusing part is how many meals do I eat?? I was told by my surgeon to eat 3meals w no Snacks (seems a little far fetched) I've seen a few websites say its ok to have

Breakfast

snack

lunch

Snack

dinner

As long as u stop Eating by 8??

MY DR SAID HE RECOMMENDS WAITING A YEAR TO GET PREGNANT JUST TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OK AND U GET TO EXPERIENCE WEIGHT LOSS, BUT IF IT HAPPENS BEFORE THEN IT HAPPENS. SO M DEFINITELY GONNA TRY AND HOLD OUT BUT I CANT PROMISE LOL

I GO ON SEPTEMBER 7 TO OBTAIN MY SURGERY DATE I AM SO EXCITED BUT SCARED BECAUSE I HAVE TO GET MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED TO AND MI DONT WANT TO BE SET BACK ANY FURTHER WEN IT COMES TO WORKING OUT. M SO NERVOUS ABOUT THE EXTRA SKIN. M 5'6 263LBS AND I DONT WANT TO SAG!!!!
