It will come sooner then you know. Trust me I have working on getting this surgery for almost a year. I actually thought I was going to have my surgery last December. lol Boy, was I wrong about that. lol Let me know when you get your date. :thumbup: -
Let me know what you are eating on your clear liquid diet. Oh went to Sams saw that flavor stuff you were talking about, I'm going to have my mom pick me up a bottle of each flavor each time she goes and some of the protein mix. Just afraid to buy abig bag of that stuff and then it tast like crap. lol

I'm so glad your surgery went great. I know reading some of the posts on here it kind of scares me about the pain,and gas. I am on a waiting list if anyone cancels, so I'm prayering. Oh I found out I do not have a pre-op diet. Yipee I was so glad when they told me that. They did tell me I had to lose 16lbs, but that should not be a problem as long as I stay on weight watchers. Also found out my surgery is on a Thursday, and I will have to stay at the hospital until that next Monday, since I live so far away. In a way I feel kind of better, so if something does go wrong I wll be right there. I just hope they don't make me stay in the hospital the entire time, I think I will actually go bonkers if they do. So how much have you lost. Yesterday I went shopping and bought me a size 14 dress for after my surgery. I get so excited thinking I will be able to wear that one day, don't know when, but one day. lol

6 more days, how exciting, you will be fine. I know you probably can not help but be nervous, but so exciting too. It is upseting for me because my original surgery date would of been this Tuesday. I get a little upset thinking about it, but still thankful it is still in my future. I will keep you in my thoughts, and prayers on Friday. Let me know how it all goes, so I know what I have to look forward to. -

tbtroy78, thanks you are correct about different requirements from different surgeons. The weird thing is this is my second surgeon, and so I have already been working on the the 45 min before and 30 minutes afterward of no drinking before, during, or after eating. I think I will just keep with what I have been working on and am used to now. The slim fast thing I totally agree with you, I was totally shocked when she even mentioned slim fast. I think I'm going to play it safe, and NO Slimfast for me. lol Thanks for the reply. -

I just got back from my trip to the Surgeon in West Virginia, and was wondering how you were doing? I hope everything is going ok, and you are doing well after your surgery. I got my surgery date it is December 2, it seems like a very long time, but I'm sure it will go by fast. Let me know how you are doing when you get a chance.

Branc1 It is a small world. I'm hoping to be going there tomorrow or Wednesday as I need a ultra sound of my gallbladder before Friday, I'm just waiting for my Doc to call me. We will have to get together if you are ever there during the day, or we can meet for lunch we can have broth or something. lol .

I joke with my daughter, that my number one thing I want to buy is a skinny girl car. lol I probably won't but she is 15 and it makes her so mad, when I talk about me buy a little sports car. Ok for things I want to do, and buy, that list could get long, but here it goes. I want to take my daughter to a amusement park,and ride the roller coasters with her. I want to join our adult soccer, or soft league here in town, as I loved playing when I was teenager. I'm going to join a tennis league, in a town near by, and maybe even look for a man. lol I'm not sure about the last part of that, I may buy me a yorkie puppy instead. lol I'm moving back to Florida, and going to the beach every weekend. I'm going to go get a family portrait done with my daughter, because now I hate getting my picture taken and will not go to a photographer. Well that is just a few I can think of , but like I said there are many more. -
I could not of said it better myself. I tell people and anyone who has something negative to say I just block what there saying out, and usually it is someone I don't even know, so I hear blah blah, blah. My family and friends are all very supportive, of me. I had to tell my co-workers because they have heard me cussing at the VA a few times. Worked out good for me they are all going through their clothes, and giving me handmedowns. I'm very excited. lol

Wow, tomorrow is your big day!!!! How exciting!!! What time is your surgery? I will be thinking and praying for you. Are you packed and ready to go? How far do you have to travel? I will be waiting to here from you when you are up to it post-op so you can tell me what I have to look forward too.

My Daughter and I tried the Target brand adult gummy Vitamins, and they actually taste pretty good. -
Congrats on your surgery date... Where are you having your surgery done at? I go to Murfreesboro all the time to the VA. Good luck on your surgery, and keep us posted.

Great news, I found the B12 sublingual, I started laughing right there in the store, I know the people thought I was crazy, which they are right I am. lol THey were there the whole time. lol Thanks for helping me find them. -

Tiffykins, Thanks that will help me out alot. Can you believe I went to Walmart today just for the B12 , and totally forgot. lol I just don't know where my mind is , not here that is for sure. Once again thank you, now I know exactly what to look for. They can't hide from me anymore. lol -

Two more days, I know you are so excited. I wrote down that combination of the DaVinci Syrup and vanilla, because it sounds yummy.
I hope everything goes well with your surgery, I'm sure it will go fine. I leave for West Virginia on Thursday morning, I'm still waiting for my doc to call me about that stupid ultra sound of my gallbladder. Hopefully I will hear something tomorrow. So are you all packed for the hospital? Did they give you a list of what to bring with you to the hospital? How far is your hospital from your house? Make sure you get back on here asap after your surgery, and let me know you are okay.
I have to go clean out my car for the trip Thursday it was one of the stipulations of my mom driving me, was my car had to be clean, not that it was super dirty, but she is a Ms. Clean.
