Realize Band-C CCs to Green Zone?

I too have the Realize band. Mine is 11cc and I have 10.5 cc in it. I feel like I am close to the green zone, could probably get a little more in. Good to know I am not alone with it needing to be close to full before feeling restriction,

    Greek Yogurt

I love the flavored Greek yogurts, but my nutritionist so no because of the sugar. The plain is too tart for me, so I started mixing it with no sugar jelly and a packet of Truvia, it's like dessert!

    Epiphany

Very well put! I'm finding that one of the hardest things post op is dealing with the mental aspect of all of this. I went shopping with a friend a few weeks ago and was able to buy something in a non plus-size store for the first time, it was great. A week later, I went back on my own and had a panic attack. Kept thinking everyone was looking at me, wondering why I would be looking in a store like that, that i'm too big for that store. It was awful, couldn't get out of there quick enough. But you're right, we are all successes and we all need to remember that as we battle not only through the weigh loss battle, but the mental challenges that come as a result of the hard work we've all put into this.

9Cc Out Of 11 And Still Need More, Normal?

I am sticking to small meals. Some meals, I feel satisfied with this small amount of food and stay satisfied for several hours. Other times, I feel as though I stop eating because I know it's the right thing to do, not because I'm satisfied. I am hoping that one more small fill will change those situations to stopping because I'm satisfied and keep that feeling for several hours. I really do think I'm close, just a little bit more...
  9. I was banded on January 30th and have done well so far, down 40 pounds. Although I feel as though the band has helped with the weight loss, I still don't feel as though I'm in "the green zone" just yet. I have 9cc in an 11 cc band. I'm definitely close, but feel like I need .25 to .5cc more. Anyone else have their band almost full before they hit the green zone?
  10. Happy 34th Birthday motogrl78!

  11. So glad that I read this post. I am 2.5 weeks post op. I lost 14 pounds in the first week while on liquids and have not lost anything the last week and a half on mush. I've been tracking and I am eating between 1,000-1,200 calories a day and started back at the gym on Saturday and the scale still hasn't moved! I haven't gained, so I am thankful for that, but I'd like to see a loss. I feel great and already see a difference in my clothes which is great. But they don't call this period of time bandster hell for nothing! I can't wait for my first fill, 3/13!

    3 Days Po Advice

I am one week post op as of this morning and I experienced the same thing. I got on the scale Thursday morning and hadn't lost a pound since the morning of my surgery. I put the scale away also as I figured it would drive me crazy if I didn't. I decided on once a week and got on the scale this morning and am down 15 pounds since last Monday. It will happen, give it time. Being a newbie myself, I completely understand what you are going through right now, but it will all work out. And I also agree with the comment on Soups, drained Soup is so much better than plain broth. Unfortunately I did 't figure this out until the end of my liquid stage! Best of luck on your journey!
  13. I too was banded on the 30th. The first few days weren't bad, in fact I had a hard time reaching my liquid goals, not sure if I was full or if it was the gas. Starting day 3, I was fine until about 3 o'clock and then I would lose it, I just wanted to eat something. I started on protein shakes today, but can only have 32oz a day and then back to clear liquids. I can't wait for Tuesday, i'm hoping I get to start mush. So no good advice, but you are not alone!
