To Momma Trammell: you know, I think it takes some of us longer , maybe 2 years to get it all off. I have talked to a few that it took that long, so don't be discouraged, it will come off. Our calorie intake is so much less than it was before the band. I am in at 11 months and I have only lost half of my weight and I can hardly eat anything. I don't exercise enough but I plan to join Curves this week. I am too far into this journey to give up! So lets cheer up an keep truckin, girl!

I am one of the ones that recently asked the question, what is PB? It made me feel good that it gave some of you guys something to talk about! I had to smile and even laugh out loud a few times. Not sorry I asked!

Hi All, What a great crew to band with. We all need all the encouragement we can get! I am finding out that most us are having the same problems and it helps to know that I am not alone.I should be called sugarstalker! seems it goes down so easy compared to the right foods. Oh well, no one said it would be easy. By the way , why is Rachael Ray's picture on the front page? Has she had the band? Just curios. Thanks.

I read some of your comments and we are so much alike on this band thing. I had to laugh out loud and it is 1:50 am. I eat chcolate kisses too and anything else that will go down, mostly not good for me. I am hung up on cheetos chips now. I banded 06-27-2006 and have lost about 42 lbs, had 5 or 6 fills and 2 unfills. I have forgotten what it is like to enjoy food. Slime is an everyday event in my lif and friends and family sure don't want to hear about that! I do think I will reach my goal someday. I have troube eating in the mornings. I started reading on this website and it helps to know that I am not alone! I will read more of your postings and Good luck to you!

I am new on here, someone please tell me what pb means? Peanut butter?? -
Hi, I am Mary Smith. I was banded on June 27, 2006. My Dr. was Dr. Wade Barker in Dallas , Texas. He is a very fine surgen, but I have had little support. I get my fills from Dr. Fred Masey and I have just been adjusted to where I am losing weight in the past 6 weeks. I have lost 40 lbs. I just made it down to 200. It is slow and sometimes I wonder if there is anything enjoyable that I can eat. I miss the meat , bread, eggs and all that good stuff. I am trying to get in the protein drinks. I need advice and encouragement. I would really appreciate that alot. Thanks.

I love it!! I hope to be on this list someday! -
HEy, Thanks everone for your words of encouragement. I feel so much better now knowing Iam not alone. Sometimes I think I am starving, then I manage to get down a few miserable bites only to upchuck it within minutes. Strangley enough I can go out and eat a childs plate of Mexican food now and then, even chips& salsa. I have a few unfills, but stuck this one out. So glad I found you all!

Hi, I am Mary, age 63. I was banded in June and have lost 40 lbs so far . I have had a hard time getting my fill right , either too little or too much. I think I have it right now at 3.8 . I had it about 7 weeks ago and have lost 20 lbs sinse then. The 1st 7 months was a slow go and I still find it hard to find solid foods that I can eat. I need help knowing what to eat. No trouble with the hair loss so far. I just want the bread and meat so bad at times. What do you guys eat?
