Are you feeling hungry after the surgery. I am starving for food. My friend said it is stomach acid but medication is not helping and I am worried I will have the same during solid food stage.

Hiya. I had my surgery on 26/02/12. It is taking me around 45 min to finish half cup of broth. Sometimes longer. I am adding yogurt to my food tomorrow will see how it goes. Hi Rob. Hi there, I have been doing lots of researches since Aug on the Band and Sleeve. I have seen three excellent doctors where I live in Dubai and each one gave me a different opinion. ohhhhh. my mind was set on the sleeve till I met one of the doctors who convinced me to have the lap. Today I had a second consultation with Dr. Al Taie and he again convinced me to have the sleeve. I am so confused. I have 35 killos to lose (BMI 35) and the main reason is IVF treatment. I am pulling my hair these days and decision has to be taken soon. I have been following the stories on both the vertical sleeve talk and the band talk, there are lots of successful stories on both. I am going crazy here and do not want to regret any decision as I am self pay. Any suggestions based on your experience............so afraid of the idea of my stomach partially removed and feeling more comfortable that lap is reversible.

Hello. Thank you all. Sleeved last sunday on 26th. The first three days were horrible and full of regrets. Feeling better each day and started moving around. Will keep you posted.

oh wow so passing the leak test doesnt mean we are immune. .....I am scared and already moved my surgery few times.

People are just being ignorant and judgemental....I live in Dubai close to the city where this patient died. People here are not too open about their weight issues.

same here. i have already cancelled my surgery twice. I even paid extra money to have both test for the band and the sleeve incase I change my mind. your story is amazing, I am hoping to feel the same soon. cheers

hi guys. thanks for the advises. I had a date of the 10th to have the band but freaked out one day earlier and moved the date to after the holidays. the lap is a better option I guess if I get pregnant soon while I have to wait 12 months with the sleeve. Doctor does both sleeve and band, blood test done for both so it is a matter of deciding. thank you all.

Hi guys. My surgery was on the 10th of Dec but moved it to next week but it think will move it to after the holidays.....please share your post op experience as I really need encouragement. Good luck to all.
