My story is much like most who have ended up at this point in their lives- years of loosing, gaining, struggling with self-esteem, hiding in baggie clothes, isolating myself and not living my life to its fullest due to shame and embarrassment.  Years ago I was told by my dr that I was not obese enough for bariatric surgery.  Obese but not obese enough?!  and so the cycle continued... until finally I changed doctors.  Since the first day, she listened and worked with me to loose weight until finally one day she suggested lapband surgery.  I feel like this is the beginning of a whole new life!
