About Me
I'm Jessica (Goddard) Schatz and I am a very very proud army wife to my wonderful husband, Richard!! He is my high school sweetheart and we are still going strong!! Married almost 9 years and I still feel like we are newlyweds! Richard and I added a little man to our family, RJ (Richard Jr), was born March 31st, 2008 and is the light of our lives!! He is full of energy and keeps us on our toes but we love every minute of it! Richard returned home from his 2nd tour to Iraq on Jan 9th, 2009; 15 months was WAY to freaking long! We were sent to Ft. Leavenworth where Richard was with us for 10 months before being sent to Cuba for a year...we are in the beginning of this 'deployment' but we are SO ready for him to be home with us again!! It's tough sometimes to be an army wife but I love my husband and I wouldn't trade our life for anything in this world! I am proud to say I am married to a true AMERICAN HERO and I look foward to all our adventures the army has in store for us!!
I have been through a lot in my 29 years of life, but like they say... what doesn't kill me will only make me stronger!! I like to think that I'm really easy to get along with, but I am very protective of my family!! I'm pretty much a homebody... I like curling up on the couch and watching movies with my husband or playing with RJ! We are outdoors people..we LOVE camping, fishing, shooting, or just hanging out outside! I have 3 tats but my favorite tattoo is my yellow ribbon on my chest, it's the one that means the most to me! I would have liked to get one in honor of my G-ma Goddard that was murdered in 2003 but she would not approve! I feel that I'm the luckiest person in the world...I have the best husband and the greatest family!!! My family means everything to me! My parents..well they are just AWESOME and I love them all to death!!! I have two brothers (one with us and one with Jesus), and many cousins..aunts and uncles..so on and so forth! I have a few cousins that I"m really really close to, they are more like sisters to me...so Melissa, Cindy, and Hollie..I just want you all to know that I love you for always being there for me no matter what! You all show others what family should be like and I just want you to know that I appreciate all the love you give!!! If it weren't for family, I wouldn't be the loud, annoying, hyper, crazy, loving, forgiving, caring, hormonal and sometimes frantic person that I am today!!
