Lol, I regularly stall out for three weeks and then drop all my weight for the month right as my period comes around. If I worried about a stall all the time, I would never enjoy my sleeve. DO NOT worry about stalling right around 3 weeks after surgery, it is super common.

Lol, I am glad this is such a positive post. Congrats on the plumbing!

I love the McDonald's Unsweet Tea! I swear I have it down to a science when ordering. No ice, 6 splenda, and lemon please! -
Birth Control After Surgery

I switched two months after surgery. I don't think switching changed my weight loss in anyway, but I wanted to be sure. -

Getting In All Your Liquids?
wishes replied to brandymarie81's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The first month or two is the toughest. Just sip, sip, sip, keep that cup in your hand at all times. It gets easier. At least for me, I figured out I can't drink plain water anymore, but I can guzzle some crystal light. I get 100 ounces now most days at 6 months out. -
Birth Control After Surgery
wishes replied to D1NOnlySexyLady's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I started my journey with Mirena, didn't notice any difference in my weight loss, but just to be sure since my insurance covered the switch I got Paraguard. My period isn't really that heavy and cramps are about the same as before. Soon as I reach goal though, I am going back to Mirena. I love that BC. My period was nonexistent. -
Lol, that would kill me. I love my scale. I can weigh myself 6 different ways to Sunday and my scale doesn't change. I love it to death.

Tips/ideas/ Motivation To Lose The Last 10Lbs
wishes replied to FishingNurse's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You can do this, lady. I have no doubt. If you want maybe just try upping your water and increasing the exercise a little. -
I will definitely try making these this week! Thank you for sharing.

Definitely, that is great losses. But in the first month especially anything from 2 - 40 lbs is possible and "normal." I lost 16 lbs my first month and 11 lbs my second. I am not the largest loser, but I am right on track for me. I normally average about 10 lbs a month, and I try not to worry about everyone else because I will hit my goal by 1 year out if I keep following the plan. It is about percentage lost not just big numbers.

OMG! You have utterly captured the problem I have. I tried on a size 10 pair of jeans and had THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! I hate it. I nearly screamed in the dressing room. Size 10s.... no stretch, and excess skin was keeping them from being nearly perfect!

No Weight Loss For Going On 3 Weeks.....wth!
wishes replied to takingmylifebacc's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This happens to me at least once a month. I hate it, but it reminds to stay on track and check my eating. Don't let it get to you. You will start dropping again. It is just the body's way of adjusting to the weight loss. http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html -
Overweight! Overweight! Overweight! I just want to shout it from the rooftops. I can't remember the last time I was just overweight. Goodbye obesity!

Thank you so much, I would not be here without everyone on this forum. It has definitely been a lifeline. I mean.... I've lost 100 lbs! I know how often I lurked the forum for photos, so I had to post my own. -
Full DD to.... well, umm.... What's left, lol. It is just mostly loose skin now. Can't wait for implants!

I barely topped 60 lbs at 6 months. I say you are doing awesome! Just keep it up. I fluctuate between 700 - 800. I really need to incorporate more exercise. I think I am extremely sedentary and that's what keeps me from losing faster.

Question For Pre-Op/post: Ever Thought About Chosing A Different Surgery Like The Ds/bypass?
wishes replied to Kiki Von Moonshine's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Nope, never considered a procedure with a malabsorption component for that reason. Plus, rerouting the intestines would be my last resort. I thought I could definitely do a restriction only procedure. -

60g here. I normally have to have at least 1 shake a day to hit it. -
Saggy Arms.... Avoidable?
wishes replied to mesaucedo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Good luck! I really hope you don't get the bat wings. For me, even when I was a kid I had really heavy arms and as I lose weight, they may lose fat but the skin is just sooooo stretched. I know I am going to need an arm lift. -
I Am Overweight, And 6 Lbs From Wonderland!
wishes replied to Pookeyism's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
That's awesome. I am so happy for you. If I could just get the scale to budge 1 lb, I would be ecstatic!!! -
Breathe, it happens. I have been stuck at 169.8 almost 3 weeks. I was stuck at 200.8 for 3 weeks. Some of us lose, in a staircase fashion. It doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong, just that your body doesn't like letting go for a bit. Step away from the scale and just follow the plan. I know it can be frustrating, but the scale will move again. I promise!
