I feel like I am going to be in for a rollercoaster. I am leaving the only town and friends I've ever known to go to another college in the fall and none of them will be there to comment. Is it worse when the people you know won't be able to see it at all except through facebook? You ladies are really good at keeping me positive. Good post! -

Interesting article, I am definitely interested in seeing what happens to me skin after surgery and weight loss. I have always been obese so I don't know if after all the punishment my skin will come back. I am will take the wait and see approach, I guess. Thank you for the info!

Not in my opinion, I have made the decision. I am happy only sharing this with my mother and boyfriend. They give me all the support I need along with this forum.

Right now, I am trying to diet and get through the my supervised six month diet. I am aiming to lose 10% of my weight. Two months in and I have only maintained a 5 lb weight loss. My boyfriend has lost 11. I can't seem to lose it anymore, and I know how to diet. Believe me, I've been doing it since I was 11. I am at the point it feels like I need the surgery if I want to be healthy. -
