According to my surgeon's plan, that would be the stage I could begin to eat a regular diet. However, carbs give me really bad munchies, so that would be something I would avoid. And most of the veteran's on this site recommend low carbing it to goal.

Honestly, it would be hell, in my opinion, but you could get through it. But definitely listen to your body and don't over tax yourself. -

As of 12 days after surgery, I am 32% down my excess weight. I am a little low on energy, but I am doing pretty good on fluids. I don't know what I would do without the forum for support.

Weight gain should be few and far between with mirena. The medication does not really leave the uterus. Unlike other birth controls, mirena is a localized birth control that does not enter the blood stream.

I can't drink plain water. It has to be a vitamin water, sobe, or crystal light. -

Love my mirena. It has stopped my period and I don't notice any mood swings or cramping like I used to get before I had it.

Haha, I say for sure. I used to have one at 271 lbs, but ever since I've hit the 230s I haven't seen it. The anesthesiologist even said, I have a skinny neck! Ha. -

So far, I have lost a couple inches everywhere, such as in the arms, thighs, waist, hips, and breasts (sigh). I am a quintessential pear shape also. I can't wait to lose a little more in the hips so I can fit into my smaller jeans. Well, you could always start taking measurements now. -

Haha, sat with my boyfriend and mom and worried. My surgery was pushed back to 1:00 p.m. from 11:30 a.m. Bring something to read or to play with to take your mind off it a little depending when you have to get to the hospital.
