    NSV- FIRST BIG GOAL!!!

I know what you mean. For some reason weighing less than your SO or ex-SO is just gratifying. Congrats!

    Spit - dont swallow!

I do that when I tend to eat a little to fast and then my sleeve says HELL NO, and I can't help but want to finish the bite but I know I would throw up. Spitting saves me a trip to the porcelain goddess.

    Never In My Life!

That's awesome! I am so happy for you.
  11. How about changing up the exercise? I've had two stalls both lasting 3 weeks and 2 weeks respectively. I notice when I change it up I drop on the scale or add carbs.... I agree something has to change. Your body might be adjusting to what is already going on.

    NSV???

Lol, hopefully you will. I think that is the only thing that will stay for me. The boobs are totally gone though.... Congrats!

    The Stall From Hell!

Lol, try being stalled at 200.2 for over two weeks. I am dying here, but you know the scale has to move again!

    Ashamed of WLS?

I am still getting some mean comments about my weight loss and eating habits from friends, so I tend to keep it to myself and those who are supportive of my weight loss efforts. I am not ashamed of my surgery, but I am not a person who likes receiving rude comments either, so until some people can act more mature I don't think they need to know any information like that about me.
  18. They happen, and I am in week 2 of one right now less than a half pound away from ONEderland, but I have lost over 10 inches in the last month so I know I am losing inches if not weight. Try to stay positive. The scale will move again!
  19. It gets better. I know it doesn't seem like it now, but it does!
  20. That's awesome! Congrats on the scale and non-scale victory!
  21. Story of my life, except it always on the bottom half. I am like a size 14 on top but a 16 or 18 on bottom depending on the pants. I am hoping one day I will even out.
  22. Agreed! I love MFP. I try to upload everything, and I can even use it on my phone! I love having VSG friends so add me at wish3s.
  23. Here we go again! Hope all my September Spitfires are doing well! Well, November 1st marks my 2 month surgiversary. Things are definitely a lot different now than 1 month out.... Hello, real food! I can't tell you how much I missed real chicken... and I am becoming the biggest fan of the Good Wives hors d'oeuvres since they have like Thai style peanut chicken satay and bacon wrapped scallops. I still do at least 1 Protein shake a day. Normally, the premier Protein Shake to give my protein a high boost for the day. I started my weight loss surgery journey at 271 lbs with a BMI of 48. As of today, I weigh 200.2 lbs, and it is killing me. I haven't lost anything in over 5 days! Ah, the perils of losing weight in a staircase fashion. However, the silver lining in this is..... I'M LESS THAN HALF A POUND AWAY FROM ONEDERLAND! And I have lost 47% of my excess weight. Most of the weight was dropped pre-op, but as of today I have lost 29 of the 71 I have lost are post-op. October 1st: 18 November 1st: 11 Best so far: I feel just like normal. I just eat smaller portions of soft foods. I am really enjoying being full at just a couple ounces of food and being able to fit in to some size 16s and 18s. I feel awesome. I also love being able to walk around Busch Gardens with my boyfriend and not worry about being ready to pass out because I am so out of shape. Worst so far: I have trouble getting more than 64 ounces of decaffeinated fluids a day which is only bad if I working out or doing a lot of activity. There are some days I am ready to pass out. Also, when the scale doesn't move, but that is just me complaining, lol. Can't wait to see where the next month takes me! P.S. Photos this time! 1st one is me at 257 at a friends b-day party and the second was taken last Monday at 202. P.S.S. Please send some good vibes my mom's way, she is having the VSG on November 3rd.
  24. Thanks everyone! My mom is doing well. She is in recovery now, hopefully will get to go home tomorrow. The surgeon said everything went great and it was a textbook surgery.
