I am in the process of researching lapband surgery and have not finished that process yet. I go next week to see another doctor to see what his process is and possibly set a date. I excited about the future but a little scared as well. I am mainly scared of the possible negative outcome. I look forward to not being tired of being tired to do anything! I miss being able to do a lot of things and look forward to that freedom again. My weight problems began as a normal teenager in her puberty thinking she was fat. My mom was fat all her life and so I thought I was. I didn't have good eating habits and have struggled with my self image since I was a teen and then it followed me into my adulthood and so I gained weight through the years. I am 50 and I don't feel old other than the weight limiting me in what I can and can't do. I want to live my life and not just sit on a couch. I look forward to having my life back.
