Hey im new to this forum and im getting banded on August 22 im so nervous, is it ok if my doctor didnt put me on a preop diet? I was just told not to eat after midnight before surgery -

Hi im new to this forum and i believe u must be mentally ready for lapband and looking good will come later but even though we are overweight doesnt mean we are not beautiful -
Tomorrow im going to my first support group to listen to ppl experiences before i schedule my surgery on friday hopefully it will ease my concerns. This is my first time on this site i just hope im making the right choice because i never had surgery in my life. Im anxious, nervous and excited, i just want to get this over with so i can start my new life of finally being healthy again
