I think I had lost close to 15 pounds in the first 2 weeks. But, I was outpatient so I didn't have a lot of IV fluids and such in the hospital. Were you on IV's? If so, that takes a lot of time to get out of your system. Please don't be discouraged - everyone heals differently and at a varied pace. Try to remember ... you've lost 8 pounds in 12 days. Has that ever happened to you before???
