Thank you so much for the 411! I actually went to a support group in April and it was terrible!!! They had a personal trainer speak. I was expecting to hear from other patients...I actually find more support here :-)...Did they put you on a pre-op diet????

Thanks mb20mom :-)...Ok you answered one of my many questions I will have for Dr. Zane on 8/18. I was going to ask him if those hunger hormones they cut out ever come back, and I guess they do :001_tt2:...But you are doing a GREAT JOB inspite of that!!! So you totally give me hope! Yes, it seems like a looooong time to wait, but this process started last June, so now I'm almost at the finish line and time is going so quickly. Then I will be off to the start of a new journey yayyyyy:001_smile:! -

Since finding out about my surgery date August 27th, I have been out of control! My surgeon specifically said DO NOT GAIN WEIGHT, and TRY TO LOSE!!!!!!!! I don't know what's wrong with me! PLEASE HELP!!!!

My surgeon said at a Q & A seminar that is not the stomach that actually stretches over time but the intestine if a person over eats. And that it can actually burst which is very dangerous. -

I believe when it's truly a God thing...God will show BOTH of you. God wants the very best for you! He came so that we can have life and life more abundantly! One scripture I have lived by is "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL THESE THINGS shall be added unto you." I have put God first in my life since a young age. God gave me a wonderful husband, married 20 years this October and 2 beautiful kids (18 and 13). Put God first, He will order your steps and lead you to the right person. Acknowledge the Lord in ALL YOUR WAYS and HE will direct your path :-)

I just found out (online) that my pre op is on 8/18/10. I meet with my surgeon at 11am then with an RN at 12:15pm (?). Does anyone know what's with the 2 appointments??? And what can I expect? Yikes!:crying: -

I LOVE watching the Biggest Loser, but Jillian is INSANE! I would NEVER want her as my trainer:thumbdown:. I'll never forget the time she insisted one of the gals stop holding on to the rails of the treadmill. She told the girl, to take her arms off the rails or she would cut them off and beat her with them...What the heck???:001_unsure: -
